Either you are too young or oblivious of the history of Pakistani politics. This "Go xxxx Go" is nothing invented or started by Imran. This is happening in the politics from the very beginning i.e. 1947 onwards. BTW, in not too distant past, chants such as "Go Bibi (Benazir) Go", "Go Baba (Ghulam Ishaq Khan) Go" were heard in the assembly and the parliament by none other than those who are now playing the victim card.

the word Go was first used in pre-historic England
now to be serious, there is a difference between a nara and starting a campaign.

Not even close to the popularity that Go Nawaz Go received. If a full elected government with 2/3 majority is thinking about stepping on the people's freedom of speech by trying to ban the slogan than you know who effective it is and how much it has irked them. Infact if they are even suggesting of withholding jalsas to avoid the slogan than that is its height.
