Im losing the value of my fixed deposit because of inflation. AlHamdulillah Allah gave me enough to live a comfortable life even with this inflation. But, what about the majority of Bangladeshi population? They are feeling the burnt of GoB mismanagement. Especially on food products which is essential to survive. Example: In my hometown chicken Egg was 10 Taka per piece, from yesterday it became 15 Taka. 50% jump overnight!

I've said before, Bangladesh is a 3rd world country. So yes quality of life in UK is leagues ahead. It has been for centuries - that's not really relevant. We export to them, get remittance from them - their recession affects us directly - that's fact.

Not just BD, the world economy is a house of cards - and we are at the bottom. The sooner you accept this fact, the better. Until we are a adcanced developed country we are vulnerable - look at Turkey.

India, Pakistan, SL, Turkey, Japan, South Korea - all countries with major financial problems this year.

For BD, it's easy now to say long term energy agreements etc - is anyone saw a recession coming - all the above countries would've done the same . This kind of commentary is nothing but gaslighting.
