I think this is becoming a thing of the past. I'd say this same thing about the US never electing a colored person. Take a look, we had Obama and now an Indian descent is the VP. Same can happen in the UK. I know the Indian community from across the globe puts in efforts to fund these candidates, etc, as a community.

I'd be surprised. The Tories will always vote for a white man. As soon as Boris falls there will be a line of them ready to replace him. They're ruthless like that. Rees-Mogg will consider himself a contender for sure.

In the UK, things are different. Apart from indians who make up less than 2% of the UK population, no one else will vote for him. In the UK, out of all the non-whites, the blacks are the most privileged and liked by white people.

But UK has a parliamentary system. He does not need vote from entire UK, just from one constituency (Asian dominated one). Then he can gather support of fellow MPs and get PM position.
