Joseph Schooling did everything right from the start, he have a good start, a good first 50, he won because of that, simply he can hang on. That was a good swim, and I don't think Phelps, Cseh and Chad le Clos will not disagree that all three deserve second.....
To be honest, Sweden play not as good as the US (Although the US team weren't playing as good as we thought as well either) the problem is that Swedish goalie is perform superbly, there are more shot on the US (27 v 6), more shot on target in favour the US 6 vs 2) and US dominate ball procession 64%, yet somehow the ball was not found on the Swedish net.
The ball game gone to penalty is totally the US fault, for that they cannot convert the chance, and when it hit penality, then it is everybody's game.
And yes, it should have been 2 - 1 in favour Sweden before penalty. But well, as I said, US dominate the whole game, just cannot convert the chances, and there were a lot of chances...
Some guys studied football games, and if there are three goals, the best team *always*
score one of the, but the other two can go to any of the team.
Sweden really scored two and had good penalty kickers.
Doubt if we can go to the final, though.
Next hope for gold is this guy! Made a 33 meter putt yesterday...
