In many countries, the drastic step of shutting down the internet is employed in response to actual or potential unrest. Shutdowns generally occur when someone (usually a government) intentionally disrupts the internet or mobile apps. The measure has been widely criticized as too drastic a curbing of freedom of expression and an encroachment of peoples' everyday lives especially if it is done to shut down dissent.

China is definitely smarter here, most of the international website are inactive in China and ruling elite sanctioned websites are the only ones working and Xi's cohorts personally monitors every breath on the computer screen.

The geo-political situation among us Asia Continent dwellers.. The amount of hatred we brew amongst each other is much higher than the westerners in present times. Why is that the situation now? Are we gonna blame our historic oppressors for the present situation? The expansionist policies in every country and the political leadership need to keep the country together at all cost? Feeding on every citizens emotion for political domination. Each military achievement given more media coverage in the country, covering up our internal turmoil. Each country has been victorious in certain facets internally which can be used for our neighbours. Could we move towards a better interdependence? A unified coaxial front to bring forth better prosperity for the world atlarge to see? Yes Fanaticism, be it any factions in each of our nations breeds hatred. Common hatred is a strong unifying factor, none can deny that. But how long are we gonna keep looking back into our history and seek reparation and revenge? Well, I understand your need to subvert India and describe the nation as non-existant. All of the natives of North and South America were called by barbaric business minded Europeans as "Indians." But this is where we are at and these are the countries we have across the world at this time.

It is the union of many ancient kingdoms under the umbrella name of India. I do not question the internal differences between each states in India as historically there were rivalry and enmity. By the way the term "China" is also a conglomerate of several kingdoms historically who were separate kingdoms., infact under Chengiz Khan the entire present Chinese landmass, spreading eastward into Arab nation was called Mongolia. "Canada" a name given by European on the blood of Inuits and natives. What about "Pakistan" name given by a political leader under the British government which came about 75 years ago?
