[Revival]-A Brief Overview of Zoroastrianism

You believe in hillbilly propaganda too much. Currently 3 million Armenian Christians live in Iran. Another million or so Assyrians. There are about 20,000 Jews and 100,000 Zoro's.

Nobody complains about persecution or living in duress. We have laws you know.......a very reasonable society. In Yazd the Zoro community is earning a fortune from the revived tourism industry. A lot of tourists go there from the EU/ US/ Canada/ Australia/ India.

So those Persian speaking aunties and uncles in the video were false propogandists? Not true Iranians?

Do you realise that after 1300 years they (their attitude, husband wife dynamics, etc) is 100% like old Parsis in India?

Peace brother.

Cheers, Doc

Last stronghold of the Zoroastrians on this planet. Most of the population is Zoroastrian, and they live here happily. Many hillbilly/ shitbilly now go there and spend money there. We are unaware of any problems:

Please note what the Iranian Zoroastrians say in this vid......if you ain't Iranian, you can't be a Zoroastrian!

Lolzzzzz

'''''In the name of Allah" we are not Zoroastrian.

Thanks for IRA sponsored propaganda videos Tokhme Jaun.

There is a reason why of the 9 main fires, 8 (including the main original and oldest Iransha) are in India Tokhme Jaun.

For all intents and purposes Zoroastrianism is now an Indian religion.

You Muslims should practice your Arab religion now.

Be happy.

Cheers, Doc

Nonsense, Iranian Zoroastrians won't consider you as such. You boyz have lived outside Iran for far too long! in a dirty country with dirty people and are neither Iranian nor Zoroastrian anymore.

This is our position on this, as per the video of the high priest.

You don't understand even the basic concept or hierarchy of Zoroastrian high priests.

I've already told you that Zoroastrianism has been a de facto Indian religion for more than 700 years now.

The intervening 300+ years was when the Iranian side was the senior sibling. In terms of transfer of knowledge and ancestral learning.

And the original fires were moved and re-consectated (as they were brought in over water) and re-established in India.

Only one has been left in Iran. The others are minor Adaran fires. Dar e Mehers ....

We have zero idea now about what level of blood mixing has happened on your side.

For God's sake man .... everyone is allowed inside in Iran. Even Muslims!

I've seen photos of your Ayatollahs in front of the Atash in Chakchak.

The very thought sends shivers down our collective spine man ...sorry to be brutal here.

We have special boi ceremonies before mixed Parsi-Iroon marriages. For bloodline consecration.

There is a reason we are PAESI.

And the guys who've come in over the past 300 years are called IRANIAN Zoroastrians. Iroons for short.

We are and will continue to forever be your last link to Persian Zoroastrians.

But why am I explaining this to someone who prays to Allah?

Cheers, Doc

@Tokhme khar Jaun

Iroon khacchars we call your Zoroastrians lovingly.

It means Iranian donkeys.

It comes from their thick accents. Their thick facial features. And slightly more rustic less cultured behaviour and mannerisms and social graces.

Remember.... they've been persecuted, and in hiding for more than a thousand years. Much of that time probably as Muslims depending on the ebb and flow of the tolerance of various Muslim ruling dynasties ... both Persian and non Persian alike.

Conversion, reversion. Mixing of bloodlines. We've heard, seen and read about it all.

Remember. We are the Athrvan. The sacred keepers of the flame. Most of you there are the Behdin.

While we've been pretty much the Brahmin's Brahmins here in a very prosperous and rich India.

That's what a millennium of sociocultural and economic disparity and freedom does to the same people.

Thanks to all of you for that. A big thumbs up from a Parsi ....

Do you still want to invite us back to "save" us?

Cheers, Doc

Ok my Muslim Iroon brother.

You are now sounding a lot like my adopted Pakistani brothers, who when cornered, when farting about Hindus like you are farting about Zoroastrians, suddenly magically all know scores of Hindus in their personal lives.

School, college, office, Mali, mochi, Kasai, doodhwala, raddiwala, kamwali Bai, lovers, girlfriends (always girlfriends, never boyfriends ....), Teachers, Mentors, etc etc.

Must be the genetic drift me and @PakSarzameen5823 have been discussing

Tokhme jaun,

Can you without trolling tell me what is your basic problem with Zoroastrianism.

The ancestral faith of your people.

If no one is forcing you to revert, and you are a devout Muslim, can you honestly tell me why it annoys you that some of you are going back to your roots?

Its a serious question.

Cheers, Doc

I don't have any problem with anyone reverting to whatever. However, at least be truthful about this will ya?.......lol

You are a hop and a skip away from being a self proclaimed savior of Zartoshti.

Obviously.

Zoroastrianism is a Persian faith. Linked to our DNA. You would know that if you were either Persian, and/or not Muslim.

The Silent Revolution of Zoroastrianism in Iran ...

Can you tell me what they are saying please? I neither know Farsi nor French.

Cheers, Doc

Its just a ceremony. No mass reversion bro......sorry. lol

The ancestral faith of your people.

Well, as per Islam we call come from Adam (peace be upon him), who was a Muslim, as was most of early humanity. So the "this is the way of our people" argument really doesn't work with Islam.

If no one is forcing you to revert, and you are a devout Muslim, can you honestly tell me why it annoys you that some of you are going back to your roots?

Because devout Muslims believe Islam is the root religion of all humanity, and that these other religions are deviations concocted by men.

The issue here is a sad reality for our Indian friend. The Indian mixed/ mongrel Parsi are dying.......they are in extinction mode. This is affecting their sensibilities.

However, in Iran the Zoro population/ prospects are stable!

The real issue now is, will the Iranian Zoro community even accept these mixed breed one's from India, who undoubtedly have aboriginal in them now?.....My guess NOT!
