I doubt that the US will remove their bases in Japan and let them go even if the Japanese government attempts to do so unless something happens in the US.

Like I said, it'll be a long process, and Japan is only half way there. But no empire last forever, and US too will eventually find it unfeasible to sustain its military presence in Asia.

Thats Great this means we will see the Rising Sun Again Looks like its coming back in times when there were more than 1 super powers indeed USA is top right now but its budget cuts might give other countries like CHINA RUSSIA JAPAN to get some good position USA in terms of Military.

Oh my, really really good. I only know basic greetings and few phrases. I've only been to cebu ones and that was more than a decade ago. But hopefully next year ill be able to go there since my girlfriend is from Talisay.

There is a great resort hotel in downtown Cebu called Crown Regency Towers, I highly recommend that place. Its good for tourists, and the view of the entire city is wonderful.

Well, what I think is that US can no longer afford to protect Japan. So they must have given a go ahead to Japan to spend and take care of their own while giving technological assistance to Japan in defense matter. Over the years Japan has become complacent about its own security as its security was Guaranteed bu USA.

So we are pleased to see Japan again taking care of itself regarding security. Being advanced in other technology, Japan will quickly absorb and be able to produce high quality defense equipment withing short time...even crossing China and Russia and some European countries. And yes, their products will be of high quality with higher costs as the labour rates are quite high!!
