It doesn't matter if Saudi Arabia was not an enemy during WW2. Your assumption is that because we have American forces occupying Okinawa and so on means Japan doesn't have independence. Or Saudi Arabia as well. And why is the UK a lapdog? Was it an enemy of the U.S. as well during WW2 and allowing American forces on its soil?
And as you pointed out the sanctions were rejected until the plane was shot down by the rebels. So why was it rejected in the first place? Puppeteers don't reject or question its master in the first place.
Stop the charade, didn't the US forced the EU countries to join the Americans in the Afghan / Iraq war?
When the topic arose of prosecuting American war criminals in the international court of justice, didn't Bush warn about the consequences and from there on no EU politicians dare mention about it anymore?
