Which politician have ever defended Pakistan in foreign media? these politicians have always failed to defend Pakistan. Bainazir, Gilani, Raja, Zardari, Nawaz, Shahbaz, Mullah brigade & so on, Which one has ever defended Pakistan. None.

Watch the traitors Khawaja sira's Saad & Khawaja speaking against Pakistan Army.

Today's Pakistan needs Gen. Musharraf & Pak Army, together they can take Pakistan forward to a good future.

@Zarvan I don't agree with you. Everything was under control until CJ Iftekhar started to ruin everything & then PPP did their job with perfection. The media also played a huge part in harming Pakistan.

The people of Balochistan province were happy with him, I know some people who live here in Bahrain agreed that his time of rule was good for the province & if you are pointing towards Bugtis death then many of the Baloch believe that he was killed by his own people as the situation favored them.

@tarrar, you need to wake up and have a cup of coffee. Seriously, your version of reality is highly selective and lop-sided.

Musharraf has been an unqualified disaster. This is where liberals and conservatives almost all agree.

Just look at quarters from where feeble voices of support for Musharraf emanate. One voice is that of MQM and it was one of the major beneficiaries of Musharraf's rule and complicit in a lot of what Musharraf did. The other voice is that of security conscious perspective which makes an unwarranted link between Pakistan's well-being and military rule. Both these voices are discredited fringe groups. Today's Pakistan is not Egypt. No dictator can stay in power here now. There is absolutely no alternative to constitutionalism. Security state has to bow out and stay in its place.

Mr.Mushrraf saved us from foreign media:woot:
or he gave birth to private foreign funded/invested channels-!
------------------------------------
I don't think so that Mr.Mushrraf was complete disaster-I believe that he tried to settle up things of as much as he can with sincerity.Since, the whole scenario was born after Mr.Zia came into power. The plan was old-it blow us up after 9/11 drama..if there would be PPP,PML-N..then situation would be much worse. He handled somethings cleverly, that is why foreign media accused him for 'double crossing' United States.

Well during his time common man was in much better state than what he us now. People blame him for the War of Terror, but they dont realize what difficult position was Pakistan in. Ay one hand was USA seeking revenge on anyone and on he other hand was India ready to take advantage. In other wordsw he was trapped between a rock and a hard place.
But he was very shrewed and he played a double game with the Americans, giving some but not all cooperation. But he was found out and so USA replaced him with Zardari.

Mr.Musharraf was atleast sincere with people of Pakistan.I remember that there is not a single leader who hasn't committed mistakes.ID don't understand that why Mr.Mushrraf's mistakes are only emphasized, and he was blamed of past errors of other presidents as well?

Such character testimonials are useful in determining sentence, after someone, no matter how pious, has committed a serious crime (such as treason) and found guilty of it after due process.

And today we are paying price for his games!!
When US was attacking Iraq, it requested Turkey for providing logistic support. Turkey denied by saying that we dont want Iraqi next generation to point their fingers at us saying that they provided shoulder to kill us!!
And even Turkey was NATO ally with billion of $ as promise!!

If Nawaz Sharif had any brains ( which he surely lacks ) , he would have appointed Musharraf as the Country's Foreign Minister. Musharraf would be a great Foreign Minister and Spokesman for Paakistan.

But Baldy has revenge on his mind instead of doing something for the Country.......

how is MQM a beneficiory of musharraf, apart from getting an environment of operation free karachi and having enough working space to develop karachi which attracted many investment and development? which proved to be very beneficial for the city and the country infact?

so do you think that the childish policies of nawaz shareef and PPP who had a very crude sense of constitutional upholding from the supreme court attack to the operation night jackal to no media freedom, to kill thousands of MQM workers just because MQM was becoming a challenge to them and to force altaf hussain and others on exile was a good policy? to military courtst bore any fruit? do you think that the politics of the nineties solved any pakistani problems or it infact enhanced them?

do you think that musharraf who after one decade brought reforms in the form of free media, local government system, to strengthening organisations like NHA and NADRA, to completing the parliamentary term of five years for the first time in the history of pakistan was a bad work?

no constitution is bigger than the country itself, the country is not made for the constitution, the constitution is made for the country

I'm sure he's (was) patriotic; but his policies have proved to be slow poison.

musharraf addressed the problems of pakistan which have become a slow poison, not the other way around
