Report: Google Banning Windows over Security Concerns

LOL................... only because I already paid for a "fake" copy !

I do have a question......................... I have homeprem. 64bit on me laptop ( HP), I can dual boot if I install Ubuntu? Also I only have 1 partition.................. any ideas for best way to dual booty????
Why not download and install VM Ware?

Desktop Edition, you download it on your Windows run it and create 1 ghost machine - install Linux on to it. You can easily switch between Windows and Linux.

You will have to boot up your Windows before booting up Linux.

Or Download VM Ware ESxi, it installs like an OS onto your machine, define two ghost machines and install any two OSes in each.

These two editions are free.

The stupidity of your market is a bad strategy for MS to rely upon. Eventually we'll all wise up. MS in fact has its biggest advantage in Visual Studio. Just as powerful as any Java based IDE, but infinitely easier for any newbie to work on it.

that rise will never happen, a good 50% of the market will always remain "Technologically impaired ". Microsoft offers the best solutions to these people and i really dont see why anyone of them would need to go for open source OS like Linux. It has its advantages but the lack of official support and software will always trouble these open source OS. I really dont see why Windows 7 is not a viable solution for anyone's needs. It performs as well as any other OS and beats every other system in terms of user friendliness. Mark my words once Windows 7 is fully matured it will give everybody else a run for their money.

Yours has nt been shut down yet?> there was a big crackdown last month. I do know if you know someone who has a MSDN account, they get several product keys. I just found that out but dont know anyone one with the acct.

No, I waited two months. But no problem here. No shutdown after 2 hours or 10 minutes. May be my cracker is perfect. But my previous cracker was failed and I had to restart in every 2 hours.

Here is the questions............................
Once installed, how would you un-install it & making sure all references also get removed?

My laptop only has the image drive/CDrom. Can I install it with just the virtual drive? Is int the installation going to read files further after the initial installation?

Lastly, is ubuntu 64 bit as well or is that irrelevant? any known issues
with an existing win7 64 installation?

I am a computer expert , hence all these questions.

64-bit distros supports almost all softwares and runs some 32-bit apps like google-earth in 32-bit compatibility mode(With Relevent lib32 libs pulled ).
Some Wireless drivers and few other hardwares needs ndiswrapper to install.
For Me ,I'm running Debian Gnu/Linux and Feels Great About it.:azn:

Ubuntu with "Wubi" will install from Windows.
Manu Cornet's website - A "Evangelization" site Which may be interesting.:pop:
