Then they should realize everyone values their lives just as much as the next guy. Maybe even more if he is corrupt. They need to not start being hypocrites and making a fuss over something they can not handle or manage themselves.

She's not a Pakistani government's elected official, she's not a high level government employee, she's not a Pakistani citizen either, she's really a house wife trying to get into Pakistani politics through her husband.

Why would her life matter SO MUCH more than an ACTUAL Pakistani citizen's life????

If she's got security needs, the British government should provide those as she's still a British citizen, nor she is a Pakistani government official or even an employee. If she must have security, she should travel with her husband or with a minister and use that security indirectly for her.

Otherwise, she should stay home and be safe, instead of wasting Pakistani tax payers money!!

IK used to complain about everyone else and their protocols and would talk about how the British PM comes to office in one car......whatever happened to ALL that bullshiit drama?????

I was right all along, this guy has always been two-faced. He's not real and loyal to his own country and the nation....the proof is right in front of everyone at this point. Everything that he stood for with his words, is different compared to his actions and through investigations. This right here is just another verification of the gap between his words and actions.

And a few hundred thousands wanted this dude to actually run a country!!! Only in Pakistan, will people try to elect a person who has such a big gap in his talk and walk.

I don't think this was necessary. If you say this kind of crap, it reminds me of watching translations of IK's sit ins and the stuff he was saying about other women belonging to other political parties and their families.

I think we should stay objective and avoid insulting a woman. That's not respectful, polite or even a right thing to do.

Outside of the above statement, I share similar feelings too. She should NOT be wasting Pakistani tax payers dollars in stupid protocols when she's a British citizen and has no stake in Pakistan outside of her husband (who has always been opposed to protocols himself at least verbally, go figure that out)!!

Also, where in the US or elsewhere have you seen a politician, or a party head's spouse getting a full protocol with over a dozen and a half police cars, UNLESS they are accompanying their husbands and the husbands were actually elected officials???

He doesn't even know difference between president and PM.

Example, he said that after a vessel drowned in Korea, the prime minister resigned. Well for Korea, the prime minister is equivalent to president and their president is like our prime minister. Moreover, they had some 5 prime ministers changes even before the vessel drowned. There, prime ministers are used as scape goats.

Then British PM can travel in one car alone because there are secret service around in plain cars and clothes. They don't expose their security plan. Secondly, Obama uses a lot of security. So Imran is just cherry picking. Finally, both nations have strong intelligence and very little terror. A common man need not to go security check for bus/train unlike for metro in Pakistan. Neither do they have IEDs, or other stuff going off.

If Maryam Nawaz, daughter of prime minister, uses protocol, it's bad. But a street political leader, who isn't even legal opposition, has his wife use protocol, pti cult followers say "imagine if she dies." Yeah why couldn't they imagine if PM dies (many said he should fly economy in PIA).

I think she is very smart actually... like a leech but with a brain... i think she should divorce imran and partner with qureshi, these both people are smart enough to kick imran out of the party and then rule it...

I agree. She's much sharper than IK. She can actually be something in Pakistani politics. Not sure about IK though.
But what the majority of the Pakistanis will say, when she runs for the office, is that we don't want a British agent running our country.......may be true, may be false?
