What's new

Regional consensus: Islamabad tells ‘external actors’ not to meddle with Kabul!

Military. Bhutto at the very end agreed to form government but didn't inform the military. Thus operation Searchlight and liberation of Bangladesh!

But Yahya had already declared mujib the pm? it was bhutto who had issues? operation search light started after awami leagues violent agitation.. thrashing foriegners,West Pak,burning properties of W-Pakistanis.... the attack on intercontinental hotel in dhaka..killings,hate speeching n seperatist nonsense the cordon of comilla garrison?

.
Mujeeb won majority seats in 1970 Elections. No one said there was rigging or results were disputed. Yet, he was sent to jail by our military? WHAT? :D
agralta conspiracy now proved by the surviving conspirators

These are disputed accounts. For whatever reason, our Army had no right to kill and rape its own citizens. A civil war was inevitable.

And then Pakistanis complain why World dont take them seriously.

Only Pakistan think that their actions are awesome master strokes and whole world wont be able to understand.

Excellent. :coffee:
Isn't Afghanistan the backyard of Pakistan? Even Americans recognized it and called it Af-pak.

How are these "disputed accounts" when all of this has been documented/reported by foriegn journalists n the people who suffered the violence?

It has been decades and we have yet to see any real evidence or even bodies of "3 million" or the 3 lac "heroines" how many have come forward till now?..

The govt of bd even announced $/compensation for the "victims" .. how many bangalis came forward to accept the money?

Anyone who dares to challenge the gay figures provided by india n mujib is charged with sedition in bangladesh?

Or what about the attrocities (well documented) on biharis n east Pakistanis?

Have you read my reply?
yes i replied to this part
Yes, but if that was mindset in military leadership at that time, that Mujeeb was traitor.
lets go to the second part
and choosing some one other than mujeeb would not have worked
first mujeeb himself would not have allowed it
the second the entire main leadership of awami leaugue was involved in th agralta conspiracy

Yes, there was a conspiracy and Mujeeb should have been hanged, instead he was released on "public pressure" just like that terrorist Maududi was released on terrorists pressure. What kind of justice is this?

. . . . .
that was yahyas fault and i have accepted it in my previous posts
Mujeeb was released BEFORE Ayub stepped down:
