Red Dawn trailer

You must be braindead to think Ming Dynasty would like a korean to lead Ming's army.

Korea was a loyal tributary state under Ming's protection. The leader of korea did not dare to have the title of emperor since Ming's emperor would not allow a state under her protection to have such title.

Without China Ming's intervention and sacrifice, korea was long part of japan already.

korean indeed could dream. :)

Everyone knows that "North Korea" in films and games is a code word for China.

The general who led the Ming Army was Korean.

You must be braindead to think Ming Dynasty would like a korean to lead Ming's army.
But that's the factual history.

Korea was a loyal tributary state
Which amounts to nothing more than some diplomatic and gift exchange(a highly profitable and financed by merchants as they got four time in return).

Without China Ming's intervention and sacrifice, korea was long part of japan already.
I won't deny that Ming helped by being human road block, except for Lee Rusong's northern mercenary army(Notice that Ming fell to the Manchu invasion when Lee Rusong's Northern mercenary army responsible for keeping Manchus in check was weakened as the aftermath of the war) which was the only competent troop of the Ming dynasty. So in a way the Japan was responsible for the next four centuries of Chinese humiliation that awaited them.

But Ming's road blocking didn't turn the tide of war; it was the Korean naval blockade that turned the tide.

.
korean really can distort history. Historically, korean was simply a tributary state of China. When japs invaded korean in 1590, the whole korea had fallen under japs' control. Even your leader was put under the protection of China's Ming dynasty.

I just could not refrain from laughing at your idiotic knowledge about history.

But that's the factual history.

I won't deny that Ming helped by being human road block, except for Lee Musong's northern mercenary army(Notice that Ming fell to the Manchu invasion when Lee Musong's Northern mercenary army responsible for keeping Manchus in check was weakened as the aftermath of the war) which was the only competent troop of the Ming dynasty. So in a way the Japan was responsible for the next four centuries of Chinese humiliation that awaited them.

korean really can distort history. Historically, korean was simply a tributary state of China.
Which is a very profitable business. Give $1,000 worth of goods to Chinese emperor and get back $4,000 worth of goods in return. Heck, I too would bow before Hu Jintao if I could get a 400% return every year.

When japs invaded korean in 1590, the whole korea had fallen under japs' control.
You need to get your facts straight. Korean naval blockade that won the war was possible because of the territories around the naval bases were well protected.

Even your leader was put under the protection of China's Ming dynasty.
Korean King was under the protection of Korea's Northern Army(The anti-Manchu troops). Korea's problem like Ming was that its best troops were up in North bordering Manchus, leaving the Southern border unprotected.

I just could not refrain from laughing at your idiotic knowledge about history.
Can you see the smile on my face as I am typing this educational material for our brainwashed and ill-educated Chinese folks, he he he he he he.

Teaching korean history is just like teaching cow how to appreciate music. :)

Historically, korea most of the time was tributary state of China. Or it was fxxked by the japs. Even today, it is still divided into half and cannot hold onto its own destiny. In the north, there is the idiotic little kim. In the south, there are those pompous s.k. who call themselves great republic korea. A so-called country which cannot even control its own destiny, still with foreign troops stationed onto its territories??? With its own women being raped by the american soldiers while your so-called president will not do a thing??? WOW, you must be so proud.

With all of your major culture copied from China, writings, poems, architecture, medicines, and etc....

Still think you are so great??? For more than two thousand years, the so-called great korea is still within that bit of tiny peninsula. Good for you. :)

I don't even know where to correct your quasi or even fake history. In short the elite cavalry Li brought into Korea was very limited in numbers around 3000 - 5000, and it mainly served as mobile troop for flanking and chasing retreatinng Japanese armies. The most fomidable troops that Li brought to Korea for fighting Japanese was Qi Jiguang's army lead by Qi Jiguang's formal servant as Qi's army had many experience of success in defeating Japanese pirates in Southern China. The defeat of Japanese in Korea was much credited to largely use of artilleries and firearms of Shenjiying.

In any history documents Li Rusong was a Ming General of Korean ethnicity(even that is debatable as shown in wiki), not a korean national working for Ming's court. Saying such is like saying Barack Obama is a Kenyan that serves as the POTUS. Li's cavalry was a formidable fighting force, but it wasn't even the top 3 best forces in Ming's history. The top 3 were Sun Chengzong and Yuan Zonghuan's Guanning Cavalry, Sun Chuanting's Qin army and Lu Shengxiang's Tianxiong army. Saying Ming's downfall had anything to do with the death of Li Rusong is even more dubious, as Li died long before Nurhaci even came to power.

Yea, Cow's music is popular around the world while no one listens to Chinese music. he he he

Historically, korea most of the time was tributary state of China.
It was just during Ming era. Qing doesn't count since Qing is a non-Chinese dynasty.

With all of your major culture copied from China
It's called your imagination.

45K cavalry.

Hideyoshi's army was no pirate and the troops from the mainland were basically useless from Korean observations, and they stood in the back as road blocks. But in this case, even the mere road blocks were better than nothing.

In any history documents Li Rusong was a Ming General of Korean ethnicity(even that is debatable as shown in wiki)
There are four counts of recorded documents where Lee Rusong stressed his Korean ethnicity during his conversations with Korean ministers. This is why there is no dispute about Lee Rusong's ethnicity; it came straight from his mouth.

Saying such is like saying Barack Obama is a Kenyan that serves as the POTUS.
Which is a popular theory in the US.

Saying Ming's downfall had anything to do with the death of Li Rusong is even more dubious, as Li died long before Nurhaci even came to power.
Nurhaci used to work for Lee Rusong's father.

HA
Forget arguing with Korean, the dude was fed KBS (Korean broadcasting system AKA Korean *ull 5hit) nonsense from an early age and cant change his ways.
According to him the Ming intervention army was really a Korean guy leading a super elite band of African, Jurchen Mongolian and protoss army. Han soldiers only acted as roadblocks?
Ha
This dude defecates out of his mouth.

To be honest, korean was either China's bxtch, or japs's bxtch. Nowadays, it is uncle sam's bxtch.

You know, bxtches seem to be very proud of its history of being bxtch. :)

Maybe we should give such movie a title: road to be a great bxtch: history of great korea republic. :)

BTW, anyone see the map drawn by a korean???

http://www.chaoxian.com.cn/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=270630

In the map, korea is a lot bigger than india.

The North Koreans cant fight hunger, let alone the USA.

Its a shame it was changed from China, the movie would have been more believable.
