Who has triggered the recent surge in terror attacks in Afghanistan

after the recent thaw in relations between Pakistan, America and Afghanistan's new regime. there were some good news in the fight against terrorism where all three countries practically provided back to back support and acknowledged each other's contribution and for the first time for a decade, the usual blames and counter blames among all three countries were replaced with praise and acknowledgement for each other.

So who will like to see all this ruined and 3 countries again going for each others' neck? who is supporting the terrorists now? who suddenly got the lease of life and support to launch some devastating attacks against the new Afghan regime and the low profile Americans? Although they are being hunted for the first time relentlessly on both sides of the border?

definitely someone who didn't take these new developments very kindly and feels left out and all the time, effort and money wasted? and what better way to not only teach Americans and Afghans a lesson for ignoring ts "concerns" but also implicate Pakistan army and open the wholesale media blame on Pakistan army?

it is a well tried and tested Indian black operations and as I expected India would take some drastic actions to corner Pakistan once again and reverse all the recent gains in Pak US Afghan relations. although a false flag attack within Indian territory is always a viable operation open to Indian decision makers but instigating terrorism in Afghanistan can result in multiple gains where Afghan will be punished for their "betrayal" and Americans will be reminded that Pakistan army cant be trusted and its at it again by supporting the "haqqanis" and shooting in its own foot as a thank you for handing over Latif ullah Mehsood and targeting Fazlullah? yea right. try harder my Indian friends.

lets see how this plays out.

Pakistan should help Ashraf Ghani Govt if possible, let them have peace deal with taliban if possible

It had been foretold. India is playing a game of blood lust in Afghanistan, a lust of Muslim blood from Kashmir to Kabul, when they can't get enough of it they kiss up Zionists.

Unlike the past govt, this govt in Afghanistan does realize that india too is having/been involved in proxy activities within Afghanistan, which in turn will get response from Pakistan and related countries leaving the people of Afghanistan to suffer.

the attacks are so desperate and so relentless that it has had a devastating effect on the infant Afghan regime and they must be in an utter shell shock moment right now. just watch this space when Indians will land a statement like knights in shining armor providing their selfless services to Afghanistan.
A barrage of programs and articles will be launched once India will take the lead by blaming ISI and Pakistan army for these attacks.

is any one following the talks between aghan govt and taliban? @Irfan Baloch plus if they fail,is there any possibility of operation in afghanistan?
answer to question 1: No I am not following that. there is not much information what happened to the UAE office of Afghan Taliban

Answer 2: if you mean Pakistan army going into Afghanistan to conduct operations. then that is out of question now. it will be the job of mainly Afghan forces and the Americans to hunt down anti Pakistan forces. like we are hunting down all the terrorists in our Waziristan operation.
we might have been forced to conduct few operations had it still been Karzai's regime but things have changed for better for all three countries.

the only risk to this cooperation is some specifically planned terror attacks by those who are mourning over the renewed alliance of Pakistan USA and Afghanistan.

yes I don't ignore the threats from all taliban and their AQ affiliates, they WILL attack USA, Afghanistan and Pakistan but Indians might also covertly support them in order to put the blame on Pakistan and bring us back to the old situation of hostilities where NATO, Afghan and Pakistan forces ended up exchanging fire.

you are blatant liar. how do you became admin of international forum when you have zero sense of reality. being admin spreading nonsense doesn't suit you.:disagree:
the thing is, Latif Ullah mehsood has spilled the beans
thanks to the Afghans who handed him over to us, we now know that its not just BLA that your cultural centers and conciliates are supporting but also TTP is being helped directly or indirectly via some corrupt Northern Alliance officials.

things are now changing and your people have seen that happening so they are panicking now, you guys better wrap up and leave the place while you have time,. your Anti Pakistan operations in Afghanistan have failed yet again.

BLA terrorists have lost lower to mid tier leaders, people like Bramdagh Bughti are fed up with you guys and living quietly in Europe and for first time, TTP leadership is being targeted by both Afghans and American drones inside Afghanistan.

these are not lies, if you chose to shut yourself off from current news stories then we cant help you. live in denial dude but its game over for India

Hi,

Pak military must increase its strikes----another cleanup operation taking the level of strikes to the next stage---.
yes ultimately it will have to be boots in the ground
what we need is to show support and earn the confidence of the tribals who can count on us that we wont abandon them
we need to build cantonments and permanent bases so that outgunned and outnumbered Tribals are not run over by the Taliban who wait out our military operations and then start mass executions of tribal people and take away their women as a punishment for siding with the army.

our strikes must be intelligence based and precise and I hope that they are conducted through team work between SSG and the PAF where they call in the strikes if they discover very high value targets or large concentrations of terrorists.

our men are already calling in the artillery strikes on the TTP camps and temporary weapon depots. I am also glad that western MRAPs have also arrived which will increase the pace of our operations and reduce the threats of IEDs and ambushes.

Dude propaganda aside !!

Why are Afghan rebels hosted in Pakistan?

If Pakistan wants good relationship with Afghanistan, dismantle Haqqani network and hand over the rebels to Afghan Govt. they will do the same in reciprocity.

On one side you people support notorious gangs like Haqqani networks and on the other side blame every evil on foreign forces. How does this logic work?

Haqqani network openly declared the war on Afghan legitimate Govt, and they did the attacks with the help of Pakistan. Why not India is being involved in this?

You can't point the finger at your papa USA which is sitting and controlling the both govts on both sides of the Durand line by using aid money. India has legitimate strategic interests in Afghanistan and till now there are no proof of India involvement is shown.

This thread is about some imagination that India might have done these attacks !!

Yes India would be "triggering" terrorist attacks in a friendly country like Afghanistan jeopardizing its relationship and reputation built over time, right under the nose of CIA because apparently there is a thaw in its relationship with Pakistan. You Pakistani conspiracy theorists can be so ridiculous at times, it is actually quite funny. And oh yeah 9/11 and 26/11 were inside jobs because you say so.

Hi,

If pak govt needs to take charge of the area---it needs to start building cantonments alongwith the military campaign that it is carrying on---.

Thru media blasts---building of cantonments should be encouraged---. Cantonmnts bring prosperity, jobs, education and a better overall life style for the civilians in the area.

The military needs to takes its game to the next level----it may think that things are difficult now---they might be in for a surprise. India is not going to leave Afghanistan without putting up a fight---. Only the other way around it is the pressure from the U S---. The U S holds the key to Pakistan's successful operations.

Pakistan needs to ask the U S in the public forums---thru media---what it wants to do with Afghanistan. Does it really want afg to succeed---if it does--then it needs to kick Indians creating insurgency out of Afghanistan.

As much planning pak military does on planning military operations---it neds tinvest more time in multi media and marketing techniques as well---.

That is the biggest problem with pak military----it is clueless how to play the media---. It puts up an old general on the screen---with a BAD HAIR CUT and BADLY TOUSSLED HAIR---.

I really think that pak media also needs to bring the U S to the screen regarding Afghanistan----it needs to ask it openly---continuously and with a smile on their faces---how long is the U S going to support the terrorist sponsors attacking pistan----. The American public needs to know the role of the u s military / foreign office in supporting terrorists----.

Pakistan lost its leverage within Afghanistan on a plethora of fronts. To make a case against India being involved in Afghanistan at this point is being naive and limiting yourself further. Viewing such complex issues through the India goggles is what causes these blunders to occur in the first place. First of all, your border with Afghanistan has always been a mess, and the tribal regions really need some sound long term policies in place for security and economic activity other than harvesting opium. Secondly, not only the Pashtun dominated areas but also Balochistan is rife with insurgency and disorder. What does that say about your ability to manage your own affairs ? Would it come across as credible then to accuse outside forces of trying to "bleed Muslims from Kashmir to Kabul" ... ?

This is a big juggling act to manage because on top of it all, you have the Kashmir dilemma and threat of conventional war with India. Many observers are keen to point out that Pakistan is worried about things out of its control (and sphere of influence) while its own house is not in order.

the armymen themselves agree completely how they are outclassed by the terrorists and apart from some cheesy ISPR presentations it has nothing much to rag about its media outreach. print, electronic and web is also a battleground for domination.

from your post I recall the days when US -Pak relations were at worse and US was talking to Pakistan via its leaks and comments to its media. never directly to Pakistanis in a meeting. back then the intent was malicious and to embarrass the Pakistani leadership. we on the other hand have a shard goal and self interest to have a stable Afghanistan for our own benefit so our use of media will be just to shake the Americans to stay focused and on the game

Who has triggered the recent surge in terror attacks in Afghanistan

The Taliban claimed responsibility for both Kabul attacks, as well as a bombing late Friday night that claimed the lives of two American soldiers near the Bagram Air Base, coalition officials said. The insurgents also said that their attacks would not be restricted to military and governmental targets.

“Efforts have been made to identify media outlets who are motivating people toward vulgarity to make them pay and face its consequences,” said a Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, said. “The Taliban will continue its attacks targeting foreign invaders and their Afghan slaves.”

sometimes,I wonder whether Defence.pk has become Propaganda device of cheap politics or not....

everybody from all over the world knows who supports Taliban, where their top level leaders live, who will reap benefits from Taliban...and here we are, some warmth from Afghanistan and Pakistani members here, who till few days ago claimed "Afghanistan wouldn't last for a year" and made Taliban a "Superpower",gloated about their every strike etc, came here to search for some "Conspiracy Theories" against their arch rival India for orchestrating attacks in Afghanistan???height of delusion...or may I say,Height of Propaganda..I could bet, within 5 pages in this thread,Pakistani members will revela some "Secret Documents" which will show that its India who created Taliban in the first place and used them to malign Pakistan's image..

by the way,is it "Conspiracy Theory Week" in Pakistan..a lot of Conspiracy Theory thread has surfaced lately.. :sarcastic::sarcastic: sad to see Elite members as well as Moderators taking part in this.. :suicide:

exactly sir exactly. The way our guys efficiently plan and execute military operations that things is not seen in the using of multimedia and marketing techniques. I just wish if we were more efficient in this.....@f.o.x @Xeric @Rashid Mahmood
