@Chakar The Great Nehru was first to give 'failed card' to Pakistan in 1947 and gave it tops few years before it would implode. Two factors threw spanner in his hopes -

• a large military bestowed by the British Raj to the merging state of Pakistan.
• United States of America and her procilivity to dishing out dollar aid and military aid contingent on signing up as vanguard of the free world.

These two factors have largely played out over the decades securing Pakistan from being failed. Only caveat is China is now replacing USA as sugar daddy. Fact is as long as you have a large military and a global power backing you up there is no way you can fail even if you wobble a bit along the way.

India completely failed in its 'surgical strikes' and strikes on Balakot, and got exposed by international organizations for its lies.

Pakistan bombed targets across the LoC in Indian controlled territory.

Pakistan shot down at least one IAF fighter & captured the pilot.

Pakistan caused such disarray in the Indian military that they shot down their own military chopper killing all on board.

Pakistan caused such a loss of faith of the Indian military and government in their own air force that in response they chose to threaten the use of missile strikes instead of mobilizing their air force.

But, but, but ... claim Sanghis breathlessly in a pathetic attempt to save face ... Pakistan was so 'scared of consequences' that it returned Abhinandan (per the rules of conflict).

No wonder you lot are stereotyped as the laughing stock of the world.

I wouldnt call it a 'prediction' even. It has been more of a wishful thinking of the US deep state to see Pakistan fail. Thats why they have never engaged in any sort of economic engagement with the country but rather believed in 'aid' so the state never gets financially independent. With a militarily strong but an economically weak Pakistan they wanted to emulate the dissolution on the lines of Soviet Union. Interestingly in order to support their argument, they kept on stressing that the country has no natural resources thus not surprisingly though, the mineral development of Balochistan in general and the value of Gwadar port in particular has found no buyers.

Ofcourse there is much more complexity to the story aside from this thesis but economic strangulation of Pakistan has been at the forefront of the 'Carrot and Stick' policy of the Yankies for long. Corrupt politicians were pawns just to achieve that objective. FATF should also be looked upon from the same perspective and is just another bullet from the same magazine. FATF has never questioned the US for financial support of the mujahideen in Afghanistan ever and has a completely different microscope to gauge pakistan for the same.

CPEC provides us a chance to achieve just what the US has denied us for long and is one of the reasons it has been looked negatively upon.

People like him just try to create a narrative. The narrative of Pakistan becoming a failed state was very strong. Backed by US, india and israelis, the world almost believed that Pakistan is failed untill they saw we are standing strong. The western and indian agencies even gave time lines and maps of how Pakistan would disintegrate. All those plans and predictions failed miserably.
We should thank Allah for this and remain humble. This is just the start and one day we will be recognized as a world power.

Since it's very birth, people have predicted that Pakistan would be destroyed in a few years time, Pakiatan has proven them all wrong.

The Pakistani nation has a long way to go, but I believe in its potential to be a powerful and influential nation, that's rich and prosperous.
