Recap: Predictions of Pakistan Failing Over the Decades

People like him just try to create a narrative. The narrative of Pakistan becoming a failed state was very strong. Backed by US, india and israelis, the world almost believed that Pakistan is failed untill they saw we are standing strong. The western and indian agencies even gave time lines and maps of how Pakistan would disintegrate. All those plans and predictions failed miserably.
We should thank Allah for this and remain humble. This is just the start and one day we will be recognized as a world power.
It's not entirely the fault of people like him. Most of the Pakistani 'academics' and 'intellectuals' that a lot of these foreign analysts reference or source are the same 'leftists' and 'anti-army' journalists & politicians that are constantly talking about Pakistan failing or just promoting negativity in general.

How many well spoken Pakistani analysts can you think of, that are quoted in the Western media or brought on radio/TV shows or sourced for analytical pieces?

Hussain Haqqani is a favorite as is his wife.

The few analysts like Shuja Nawaz etc that do occasionally make it just don't seem to really push the Pakistani perspective very forcefully. Contrast the Pakistani analysts in the West with the Indian ones. The Indian analysts, whether liberal or conservative, typically always take a hawkish position on Pakistan. Not so with our guys, who are constantly disparaging and denigrating the country they are supposed to be analyzing objectively.

.
Iranians play their part in this too.

I wonder how long will dreams of strategic Persian depth be sustainable for GoP

. .
The narrative that pakistan was a failed state in 1948 was out too loud as well.. IN govt randi rona has been there for ages.. why do these guys cry so much... so scared of a tiny country which is 7 times smaller than them

.
What do Iranians have to do with predictions of Pakistan failing?

they make such predictions for Pakistan as well saying its just a fake country hoarding iranic people.

you don't need to put your shield on so early in the argument

It’s a question, not an argument. No need to distort a simple question to fit your biased views about my ‘intent’.

The thread title does not specify any particular country making ‘predictions of doom and gloom’ about Pakistan, so feel free to post material from Iran or any other country making said predictions.

and those have been quite propagated by the Iranians even on this forum.

Arab countries don't finance anti state fundamental propaganda like the neighbours employ.

be it a persian speaking assassin of Liaquat or Experimental mangos from Iran

I rarely go on the Iranian or Arab sections unless someone tags me, so I’m not familiar with their views.

I’m more interested in analysts, intelligentsia etc and/or government figures/leaders (religious or otherwise) making such comments, and not random posters in the forum. Feel free to post sources to such analysis to help people understand.

I would say that this is a huge problem in American think tanks in general. They have been hijacked by factional lobbies and no longer offer good objective input to USA policy makers. The Trump administration has largely rejected these idiots. I am not a fan of Trump at all....but I must say he has made USA foreign policy more pragmatic then Obama or Bush.
