For those who support a re-militarized Japan must have some sort of Stockholm syndromes or are they simply self imposed sadists?
Courtesy to gpit
Dude, if you think when Japan remilitarize, it will go back to something like WW2 right??
That mean you also said China will be a PUSHOVER like it did in WW2 then.
Dude, you cannot use what a country did 70 odd years ago as a rason to justify a decision the same country have to gone thru TODAY. that's the idea, situation changed. THe consitution should too. THat is the idea why.
Not if you exercise limited conflicts by restricting it to the sea or like what we are doing now, waging economic warfare. There is little to be gained by going in land.
The same, depend on where you rage a sea war.
If you are raging a sea war within international water with Japan, Japan warship cannot gone international unless escorted by US warship.
If you are raging a sea war within Japan territorial water, then you are invading japan. There are more US warship moving around Japan then there are Japanese warship (We got about 130 warship in 2 CSG in Japan while Japan only have 40 odds warship with the whole JMSDF.)
And that would be an invasion of Japan and will draw the US Navy to response.
Can we stop with the country bashing & stick to the topic which is the rearming of Japan. China & Japan won't go to war with each other because both country Economy is tied to each other. Japan sinks China will follow. The ECS conflict will be nothing more than both country sending ships back & forth into disputed territory.
Many people failed to see trading is a 2 way street, China lost as much capital than Japan lose its gain. Without Japan this biggest customer, who will take it place?? Chinese never thought of that.
And yes, this topic have been derailed a lot....
Do you even know that USA was the No. 1 supporter of Khmer Rouge? If not, I must say Americans were brainwashed to the core. CCP has a lot to learn.
Just googled "USA Khmer Rouge", here is the first link.
The U.S. Is Even More Guilty Than Pol Pot
Technically speaking, US support Thai regime while Thai physically supported Khmer Rouge Regime, they may be pro-US but US have nothing to do with it, get your fact right first.
Really sir please look at the level of technologies of the two countries is? In terms of tech the Japanese wins that also goes for military tech and they train with US all the time imparting military tactics and experiences the Chinese on the other hand zero military experience and no one training them who have been in real wars in terms of the Americans teaching the Japanese so both artificial experience and technology the Japanese will owned the Chinese in any military engagement but the problems of the Japanese is they have been limited by their constitution limits their military capabilities and there military defense strategy depends on American help but with this changes they should be about to update their defenses tactics to a level they would not just be sole dependent of American help
Japanese is a well trained troop, but the problem is, there are less Japanese troop, A LOT LESS, then there were Chinese Troop. According to the latest info, Japan have less than 150,000 Ground troop while China is touching 3 millions. IN a textbook Island warfare engagment, the best scenario for Japan is for them to own the sea and air, which will result in the attacking troop into a 10:1 fight. Which is still lower than the 15:1 ratio of Chinese/Japan Troop number. And that is the best scenario, in term of war, i don't think Japan can get the upperhand on sea and air. Which will drop the attacking troop ratio to 7/8:1
Technically speaking, if China were to attack Japan today, they would just roll over and died. If we raise the troop of Japan to a total of 500,000 and 300,000 ground troop, that will achieve the 10:1 ratio, which just ssatisify the best case scenario with Japan.
