That’s why I have been saying, it’s not about IK the man, but the idea of a man, from amongst the highest echelons of the nation’s elite, stand up to the sheer incompetence and corruption of the actors in the system. It’s about the struggle. Even if IK returns to power he will need to let the most competent and diplomatically (domestically and internationally) savvy actually run the country.

The center of gravity of this struggle is legitimacy and a culture of shortcuts.
