The innocent you're talking about are militants. They provoke the local people, instill fear in them, use them, and kill hundreds of army men.

Ever wondered why you hear such stories only about the parts that Pak wants from India? Not in other Indian cities. Indian army is same in the whole nation. This is a plan to plant terror in Kashmir and convince the Pakistanis that Kashmir is facing problems and needs to be relieved (captured in real senses).

Army in JnK does not kill innocent people.Anyone who says that army kills local kashmiris should also know that the people they are call as locals have sophisticated weapons brought from across the border and most of them are killed either during search operations in border area or they are killed while trying to infiltrate to India territory.If they would have been locals then they would not need to come from across the border.Moreover no peace loving Kashmiris possess ak-47.

Indian Army kills youth in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Army guards shot dead a 24-year-old youth near their north Kashmir camp on Saturday, triggering massive protests from local villagers which were on till late into the night.

Police sources said the youth Sajad Ahmad Ganai was asked by the guards of an army camp to halt at Dangiwachi in north Kashmir Baramulla district this morning. As the youth ignored the warning, a sentry opened fire killing him instantly.

The villagers came to know about the incident only after the body was handed over to them for identification. Shouting anti-India slogans, the villagers took to the streets and blocked the highway. Now they are refusing to bury it till an enquiry was ordered into the killing and a murder case registered against the troopers.
