Ready to kill, get killed to save cows: Sakshi Maharaj

Who told you that? Ban was already in place long before Modi came to power. Read about Yadavs and their love for cows, states like UP and Bihar are ruled by them. Or for that matter read about Lalu Prasad Yadav's comment over beef issue, he is the one who took on BJP at the peek of Babri issue.
But hardly i see any incident or such type of senseless statements from politicians. Now fanatics and saffron terrorists on peek of their power God save innocents from the extremists.

. .
Some are killed over...
Come on man, not done.

This MP is asking the state government to enforce the law and stop illegal cattle slaughter. If government can do it's job honestly nothing of this sorts will happen.

.
“We won't tolerate insult to our mother...will die, will kill,”

what does this "..." means in the above quote? Media twisting his statement to their liking? :o:

PS: People will comment on this spin instead of his original quote.

"We won't remain silent if somebody tries to kill our mother. We are ready to kill and get killed. The Uttar Pradesh government's double standards have been exposed. The way in which the incident is being politicised is condemnable," said Maharaj"

BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj says ready to kill and get killed for cow, calls SP's Azam Khan a 'Pakistani' - IBNLive

Do you know what's sad? Killing people over religion is a universal thing, so are their apologists it seems.

I am all up for banning cattle slaughter but killing for it and getting killed....that sort of comment shouldnt be made let.alone doing it literally

It's election time in one of the most important state in India, polarization of vote banks is in full swing. It's ugly but things people do to win.

His statements have no value in India. Unfortunate he got headlines in Defence.PK.

There is a context to all this talk, it is not happening as a random debate. When said after a man has been killed, this kind of talk is being used to raise passions over the subject & negate the outrage on the killing.

The state government is unable to prevent rapes, I see nobody advocating & carrying out large scale castrations of young men. That is no excuse. Your comments veer very closely to being one of an apologist in a pretty heinous murder. Not sure if you really want to go there.

Ugliness noted and understood. Does not make this murder any less horrible. Nor does it vindicate such tactics.

I think second part of his statement makes it clear what his intentions are, to politicize the issue further and polarize vote bank. It's ugly but things politicians been indulging for a long time.

You are right in saying that this man, like his fellow jokers, do not really count & the best thing for everyone to do is to ignore them. Unfortunately that does not happen with our media & therefore a little bit of the ranting reflects on the party that this guy represents.

I condemn the murder of Akilaqh, and his murderers must be punished. Unfortunately, his death became a tool in the hands of politicians. Our political leaders need to mature and fight elections over real issues not over a death of innocent man.

Beef politics>yadav votes>lalu's half vote bank>Bihar elections.Donot for a second think these statements are not intentional,on ground they work amazingly well during elections.
