Ratan Tata may be suffering from delusion: Amit Mitra

LOL yes, but i put the blame on mostly BHADRALOK bengalis its because of them they let these elements creep up in bengal, earlier it was a place which produced freedom fighters, thinkers, saints. Now it produces Mamata(Mumtaz begum)
and illegal Bangladeshis they have brought this on themselves, they will soon be another kashmir driven out by illegal bangladeshis atleast Assamese people fight against such things, it seems bengalis have given up hope and their will to fight is extinguished.

Yup. They are busy sermonizing the rest of India about secularism and unconditional love.

Take a look at any bengali in India they are the preachers of secularism, they would put other minorities ahead of them in a sense its like capitulation, ghulam giri, "WALK OVER ME" kinda types.
They are the upholders of pseudo-secularism all over India and outside, See their Intellectuals full of them outside India and inside they actively work against Hindus and India
I haven't seen a staunch bengali hindu yet.
Even here on PDF the bongs are apologetic hindus who are ashamed of being a hindu rather than being proud of it and make all kinds of excuses to distance themselves.

I say they given up the fight like Kashmiri Pandits and will become refugees soon as they wont put up a fight against bangladeshis, TMC , Commies they will be herded like cattle and pushed out of bengal while the rest of hindus keep fighting.for their right.

Sad to see the change of this man from FICCI to WB Assembly, when not only did his attire(suit to dhoti) change but the metamorphosis seems to be complete with the kind of language he has chosen to use.

I'm wondering who is he addressing, the "bhadrolok" with those "abhadro" words(seems highly unlikely) ? or he knows that his BOSS loves this kind of drama hence keep her happy(more likely).

Bottom line, "When $hit is flying at you, cover yourself, duck & then clean up & add some fragrance in the air." [Alrite I made that up :p:]

It seemed Dr Mitra tried to throw $hit back, which unfortunately due to the track record of TMC will fall back on him & his party.

You know what do I call her ? Mad Bitch Freakshow. MBF.

Bengal is at denial today. TMC has increased it's meetings, public mikebaazi in kolkata. It is loosing ground.

hey came to my locality, called discontented TMC workers (who are known goons) to join their party. I hope and I do hope honestly that BJP does not get contaminated just like TMC did in 2010.

It is gonna take time...you have to start with what you have and honestly, I wouldn't mind some BJP muscle in Bengal. Very Verry needed.

Delusional man !!!

Bengal isn't north india, Bengal isn't UP. Casteism has been dealth with in Bengal, one thing I praise the commies for.

No bangladeshi is taking over WB. Bengalis on this side of the border aren't ch*****s to let that happen.

Looks like Media took 15 seconds of Amit Mitra's comments and blew it up. In the rest of the comments he talks about how TCS, Tata Metallics is coming to Bengal & then talks of other big projects of Emami & Anil Ambani.

.
He got into an agreement with "The Government of West Bengal" to set up a factory, he invested money, when the factory was near completion; some people stopped all work there and started beating up workers, "The Government of West Bengal" failed to ensure adequate security or solution, Tata stopped work there permanently after repeated cry for help, and later they also clarified that they will return when the safety & security of their workers are ensured. Now, why should they just give back the land to "The Government of West Bengal" after investing so much money there? They did say they will consider it if they are adequately compensated, we may not like that, but if were a businessman answerable to my shareholders, I would have done the same.
And I am sure Tata will come back if the present "Government of West Bengal" ensures full safety & security of their workers and plant, after all they have their money stuck there, our CM can ask them once.

are you from bengal.I hope not.because, you know zilch about the problem...

1. The agitation was started by the farmers, not some Political Parties.Govt forcefully acquired the land and was distributing compensation without their consent.

2. Tata nearly got 1000 acres free of cost for 999 years(Leased,as you know,Tata never owned the land).

3. After agitation took violent turn after killing a girl agitators, commies imposed indefinite carfew and led to violent oppression.

4. Kolkata High Court declared the occupation of land illegal..but later times, due to changing of status of Singur Rehabilitation bill, the land still lies on the hand of Tata, who is keen to use it.

5. There will be no Nano plant.stop dreaming.and TMC govt is not going to give it to Tata.it is a deadlock.

Mr. Tata did invest here on the land given by "The Government of West Bengal", didn't he? He did have some preferences, and it is natural also when it is such a big business investment, even I had my list of preferences when I bought my little flat with my tint investment. The point is, "The Government of West Bengal" accepted Tata's preferences and went into an agreement with them, and later "The Government of West Bengal" backed out. Who broke the agreement here?
btw @GR!FF!N you can be absolutely sure that we have successfully fcuked Tata, cheers on that.

CPM govt did, unilaterally, just like they did in Nandigram(though in Nandigram, violence took place even before the project got started).if you study the older court judgements on Singur,Govt itself stated that they acquired land without consent.

Supreme Court asked Tata to make their status clear......

Singur case: It's a moral victory, says Mamata

but Tata said, they want to keep the leaseland.no wait a minute, why the hell he wants to return to a land where always violence, strike and all the nuisense happens??

And who created Singur-Nandigram fiasco fully knowing that this will make our state completely paralyzed? And what was the issue with Nayachar? Pakhiralay?

CPM did bro, when there was no sign of TMC(now don't try to disagree.you can check the seats of TMC in 2006-2007).they simply forgot that its people who is in power.if you're from WB,you could surely not forget that episode..the struggle of mamata banerjee in that period made her CM,and she did right by opposing the govt.our land acquisition bill is based on 120 year old law, what do you expect??

All these deals with Tata were done during CPM rule, for which TMC is trying to get credit now as they barely have anything to show for themselves.

@GR!FF!N I am from Bengal and I remember everything. I will give you a detailed reply point by point at night to correct the factual inaccuracies, not possible now.

I am from WB, Kolkata to be specific, and I know the entire problem as I watched the drama with great disbelief and disgust.

1. The agitation was backed & fueled by the TMC from the very beginning. Roughly 83% willfully gave their land and took money, only 17% refused, now if you are looking for 100% consent then just forget about any new industry in Bengal. Not only industry, you might not even get land for putting lampposts.

And Mamata said 400 acres need to returned back, when she become CM and asked villagers to apply for return of land, application for ONLY LITTLE LESS THAN 40 ACRES came!!! And previous government was ready to give 70 acres of land from the acquired land!! What a farce.

Few claimants for seized Singur land - Livemint

Previous government proposed for alternative land, better compensation, shops, etc. for the villagers, Mamata rejected all other alternatives and remained rigid for only that land in the middle of the project area, knowing that the project may not happen, for whose benefit, villagers?

2. Yes, Tata has got a lease of 999 years, and they have invested some 1800 Cr. there, so? Don't you know that 999 years lease is as good as sold? Many industries across the country have been set up under very long term lease, so the respective state governments have the right to kick out the industries at will? And what will be the future of the state in terms of industries & business if it does so?

3. The agitation took a violent turn long before that, and the incident with that minor girl was a case of typical rape & murder by some perverts, she was too young to be any kind of leader who had to be murdered to stop the agitation. During the same time another girl of her age had the same fate, she was a daughter of a CPM worker, do you remember that?

4. The case is still pending, previously there were two verdicts by two benches, favouring one each. Didn't Mamata know that the case will go to court and remain pending there for years? If she is so much concerned about those 40 acres of land owners, why she didn't try to negotiate with the Tatas about discarding the land and the plant for suitable compensation? I am sure that would be welcomed by the Tatas since they have their investment stuck there.

5. I know there will be no Nano plant, in fact, there will be no big plant in Bengal for a considerable time in future. Mamata has ensured that.

CPM govt did, unilaterally, just like they did in Nandigram(though in Nandigram, violence took place even before the project got started).if you study the older court judgements on Singur,Govt itself stated that they acquired land without consent.

Supreme Court asked Tata to make their status clear......

What CPM government did? Trying to rectify their previous mistakes during Jyotibabu's era and bring in some industries? It must be a sin in a state like Bengal, right? No land was acquired in Nandigram, Buddhadeb categorically said no land will be acquired in Nandigram, Mamata created a situation there with the help of her new found MAOIST FRIENDS.

Now, what was he objection when the petrochemical project was proposed at Nayachar? Where is the bird sanctuary she wanted to make in Nayachar instead of the petrochemical project? And these are only a few of her many such gems. What about Infosys? What about ABG? What about Katowa power plant of NTPC? Sorry, I have my limits to take such nonsense.

CPM did what? Singur & Nandigram fiasco were brainchild of some power hungry politicians of TMC who didn't bother to destroy the state's future for their petty politics. And who told you that a political party needs lots of seats in the assembly to create nuisance on the road?

Biggest mistake of Buddhadeb was to allow Mamata to sit in a month long agitation in front of the Singur plant blocking the national highway, RAF was needed there on the day one to clear up that blockade.

Not delusional,
I see most intellectuals of bengal are lefties and pseudo seculars,Isn't it a fact that TMC goons have a free hand especially muslims in WB?
I see many cases of love jihad and being butchered and police not willing to file cases.
This sort of thing is seen in UP and kerala.
Caste system is almost redundant in most developed states it doesn't need a communist government to remove caste barriers, prosperity, education does.
Atleast the assmaese are not in denial they know the impact of illegal Bangladeshis and are doing something, while the bengalis are happy with Mumtaz begum and her ilk.
I mean no disrespect for bengalis its just that you are producing too many pseudo seculars from the land of aurbindo, vivekaananda, tagore etc.
Something went very wrong in the past 50 years of rule.

you are wrong once Tata left singur many states offered land to tata,
AP,Maharasthra,Gujarat etc.
AP YSR really tried to woo tata, he gave many sweet deals better than WB but ultimately Modi got tatas into gujarat.
