The Rapid Action Battalion(RAB) of Bangladesh is using Israeli made MINI UZI thus supporting the Israeli economy? Why was this allowed when Bangladesh clearly doesnt recognise Israel and considers it an illegal country?

.
I think Israel has more FACE + economic value then BD.

I see it as BD who will see the drawbacks in this case...

Could be a copy of the Uzi. It is a very simple design.

Uzi is quite effective in combat futhermore i think the uzi they bought were second hand from other countries or probably from the black market, as bangladesh do not trade with isreal

BD is hurting itself by not recognising Israel the strategic benefits of having Israel at Your side is immense.

No we do not need a zionist state by our side, rather than that we should be having better ties with other muslim countries it will be better for us instead of having a zionist state control what we do therefore asking US to pressurise the country into accepting. Good times having a Zionist lobby in US(Not jewish).

The Uzi has been exported to over 90 countries. Over its service lifetime, it has been manufactured by Israel Military Industries, FN Herstal, and other manufacturers. From the 1960s through the 1980s, Uzi submachine guns were sold to more military and police markets than any other submachine gun ever made.

Manufacturer: Israel Military Industries, FN Herstal [Belgium], Norinco [PR China], Lyttleton Engineering Works (under Vektor Arms) [South Africa], RH-ALAN [Croatia]

Produced: 1950–present
Number built: 10,000,000+

Users [among others]
Indonesia
Iran

Uzi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

- There are several non-Israeli manufacturers from which this gun could have been obtained.
- Given the number of weapons produced, there should be a lively market in pre-owned guns of this type
- It is in use by a variety of countries, some of which one might qualify as islamic and which aren't necessarily friendly with Israel.

So, what exactly is the problem?

True, but the Arabs...they aren't so awesome.

Turkey is cool though.

The Norinco copy is indeed not licensed ...

In the mid 1990s Norinco of China manufactured an unlicensed copy of the Uzi model B with modifications made to avoid the US Assault Weapon Import Ban. The folding stock was replaced with a wooden thumbhole stock, the barrel nut was welded in place, and the bayonet lug was removed. The gun had a gray parkerized finish and was sold as the M320.

... nor is the Croatian copy.

It was also produced under license in Belgium by FN Herstal, and without license - in Croatia.
