Rapid Action Battalion(RAB) using Israeli weapons?

Actually banglaesh will lose out more than actually benefiting from isreal if we recognise isreal

IMHO, given that most of the world does recognize Israel, I don't think it matters a whole lot whether or not Bangladesh does or doesn't.

How will Bangladesh lose more than benefit?

Turkey, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Jordan, Mauritania and the former Soviet republics in Central Asia have relations with Israel. All of those countries are Muslim majority and seem to be doing fine.

And here is your answer, we are we will not recognize illegal state of israel.

The issue is not because of religion, the issue is over who owns the land. Land ownership in Palestinian territories (including occupied ones) is a matter of life and death. And sadly, the Jews have been going a little...extreme as far as land ownership goes over the past half a century. That's Zionism for ya

Bangladesh is Bangladesh. it is not Turkey or Egypt. It has its own policy. Bangladesh will certainly not recognize Israel unless the latter settles all matters of disputes with the Palestinians. BD has always been providing diplomatic and moral assistance to them. Moreover, Bangladesh is providing military training to the cadets from Palestine.

It is our moral duty to keep our fight against the illegal entity called Israel that has occupied Muslim lands with western support. I just do not know if Uzi has been provided to our RAB If it is made in Israel, it should be discarded by the GoB.

I find some people showing BD flag in this forum, but are sending wrong messages in most of their posts that negate their claim to be citizens of Bangladesh. Moderators should take note of these posters.

Bangladesh has a huge number of expats living in states like saudi arabia, malaysia who does not recognise isreal. These expats of bangladesh send back a great amount of money to bangladesh to make our economy run. If we suddenly recognise isreal, it may not go well with these countries. They may lay off our expat workers or not hire people from bangladesh anymore. This will cause major hinderance in our development.

I understand isreal may be able to help us in developing our technology and our value added sectors of our economy. However, this can only be done after we have acheived a better level of development and stop relying too much on our expats to help run our economy.

As far as i know, Foreign Minister Dipu Moni wanted to have ties with Israel but this was vehemently opposed by all parties including top AL leaders. And i assure you, if she had done that, AL's popularity would be dead in 24 hours.

I think you mistook the nature of my post, which wasn't that BD should (not) recognize Israel.

I was attempting to answer a question about what Bangladesh would lose or gain if it recognized isreal. My point was that the big picture regarding recognition of Israel probably won't change much, and therefor that in terms of benefits/costs as decision either way is unlikely to have great repercussion for BD.

At no point did I take a side in the debate or suggest a course of action for BD. Also, I did not attempt to address the issue of values or moral issues.

So please stop trying to paint me in a corner with somthing I didn't say or suggest, thank you.

Don't know about other countries. . . But Bangladesh will never recognise zionist thugs. . . Anti-Israeli sentiment is more severe than anti-pakistan or anti-indian sentiment here in Bangladesh !! Majority of Bangladeshis are muslim first , then Bangladeshi. . It is all about our brothers Palestinians. . . .We will never compromise. . .
