sit back down please,
your case just got closed and thrown out of the court.
Pakistan rangers Zindabad put a dozen rounds in anyone head who touches your gun.
@Mav3rick you really must been like a moron now. educate yourself
we support Pak rangers in this justified killing of a civilian trying to snatch a gun out of a government servants hand there to protect innocents.
I asked for SOP's and you posted videos. That too from incidents that would have ended up in court because they were all anti SOP, unprofessional and racially motivated. Basically, you just proved me correct but with your level of intellect and intelligence, you just aren't able to grasp it.
Let me see you justify killing when the Rangers kill your brother, father or son. Let me see how justified it will be then. Because they too will be affiliated with MQM, made to be target killers and assassins and so their execution too would be justified and murderers pardoned, that is if they are unlucky enough to be filmed in the act. But be assured, I would be there to defend your rights, because that's just me.
I think it's a good move.
If the same "victim" was presented infront of the U.S police, they would've done the same thing.
He was a robber with a fake gun (rangers did not know) who was turned into them by someone he was trying to rob. Instead of freezing and waiting for a ranger to check him, he kept on trying to reach for his "fake gun" or the ranger's rifle. Also please keep in mind that around this time, the number of terrorist attacks and targeted killings against Rangers was really high and hence why they were always in a heightened state of alert and over-caution.
In the video (uncut version), you could see him being turn over by the people he was trying to rob.
If it wasnt for the Rangers, Karachi would've been a warzone today. You don't live in Karachi and hence you don't know the ground realities.
If someone said that he is "armed" then any sensible and trained person would point their guns at him.
In the US, if this was to happen and you kept trying to reach for the gun or your pocket; you would've been shot.
By God, sometimes I wonder if some of you are seriously retarded!! and that is not an insult, I swear. I mean no disrespect to any one. It is because of your post. NO ONE SAID THAT HE WAS ARMED!! The kid kept begging to be let go. For the love of God watch the video, try to understand it and then post something. Since you have not understood the video, let me explain:
The Park's Guard brings a youth to Rangers Team of 5-7, he brings that youth holding him by his neck all alone. This guard then hands over the youth to the Rangers, he also hands over a toy gun and says that he got the toy gun off this youth. One of the Rangers Troopers, instead of handcuffing the youth or arresting him, points his automatic assault rifle point blank at the face of this youth. I will stop here.
I will stop and ask you, all of you, have you ever had any of your brothers/cousins point an airgun at your face? Your first reaction is to lower the nozzle of the gun away from your face. This is precisely what this youth did, bad mistake but nothing that a team of trained and heavily armed Rangers Troopers could not handle. However, what the Rangers trooper does is shoot this guy, twice.......and then he let him bleed to death. The other troopers did nothing. It was bad luck, bad luck to the Rangers as all this incident was caught on Camera, otherwise the story would have been 'MQM hitman killed in encounter with Rangers'.
P.S. This youth had no affiliation with any political party, let alone MQM.
The only ground reality I am concerned with at the moment is the getting away with shooting an unarmed civilian, regardless of whether he was a thief or a robber. Because if this is a society we want to go for, where security forces can gun down civilians with impunity without due process of justice, then we are well on the way to there.
And please, don't tell me about ground realities in Karachi, I was there when young kids were being shot up in fake encounters during the 90s.
The problem is that people from outside of Karachi, having been fed propaganda all their lives, somehow think they know Karachi better than us Karachiites and that they somehow hold benefits of Karachi above even those of us Karachiites.
