Ramifications of Ukraine on Taiwan

It is funny but I have always predicted that China will be a peer superpower to the US by 2025.

It's hard to say for sure, but if we keep up a decent growth momentum, we should have a sizably larger economy than them by 2025.

We should also have a fully modernized military by then as well.

Taiwan is right on our doorstep, like Russia with Crimea, we can bring almost everything we have to the conflict zone.

China will still not have a Navy as powerful as the US but it will be dominant in it's backyard.

Also China will become immune to Western sanctions as it would have developed all core technology and its trade would be much more diversified than now.

In short, China can act with virtual impunity in it's neighbourhood.

Exactly, that is our goal.

It's true America will still have the greatest amount of global force projection, however by 2025 we will be able to bring more to the conflict zone in Taiwan (right next to us) than America will be able to bring and sustain across the Pacific Ocean.

Not only the majority of our Navy, but also the majority of our Air force, and all of our thousands of land-based missiles (short-range ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, rocket artillery).... not to mention a huge amount of troops that won't be matched by even a coalition of countries from the outside.

Hopefully the ROC will see reason though, I have no wish to restart the bloodshed of the Chinese Civil War. Russia took Crimea without bloodshed, hopefully we will be able to do the same.

In fact, the ICASBM and CHTV will help China to sink enemy's surface vessels within the global range.

The remaining threat that China will have to deal with is enemy's large number of fast-attack nuclear submarines.

Yes, China should start building as many Type-095 submarines to take on the US submarines.

It will be much easier than trying to match the US in aircraft carriers.

. . . .
US submarines are the biggest threat to China not aircraft carriers.

Which is one of the reasons why China's security is not assured until Taiwan is reunified with the Mainland.

We need to have underwater sound surveillance systems all over the place to detect submarine movement.

Yep, some US military think tanks are already proposed to reduce the number of supercarriers to 6, while increasing the number of the advanced SSN to more than 100.

They will soon start to change their naval strategy in order to deal against China's ASBM and HGV.

and what has crimea to do with that? The West did it before in kosovo, if they would want to push for an independent taiwan to recognizing it, it sure would have happened by now. If anything annexing crimea pushes the west back to international rules about sovereignty which they are now all of the sudden are preaching about.
This is just another western article trying to disrupt chinese and russian relations.

Russia too cold and Cremia a warm place with beauty and the Russian are proud of it and want the whole world to know so they launched this unnecessary vote.

According to recent information from the CD forum, China is now mass producing the nuclear submarines, it has higher priority than the aircraft carrier project.
