Railway linking China, ASEAN becomes operational

Yes, this is the future plan. First we get the normal railway connectivity with South East Asia. Whole area is mountainous with thick jungles and its costing us billions of dollars to construct railway tracks in these areas.

Do you think your plan can be complete?
It seems that you exhaust all resources to build up your military power.

Our railways employee more people than our Army. (perhaps only railways in the world.) and our defence budget is extremely low, less than 2% of GDP.

When we build things in India, it need to make profit. While China's model is to keep high GDP growth by building ghost cities and even HSR is for same purpose to keep high GDP growth in global slowdown because seeing the per-capita income of Chinese world's largest HSR network is not going to make much profit, its only purpose is to maintain high GDP growth.

I was looking for missing rail links between India and Vietnam, I found three of them. Between India-Myanmar, Myanmar-Thailand, Thailand-Vietnam. We are building railway line with Myanmar but don't know about other two. It is the part of our "Look East " policy.

This AH1 goes through Bangladesh. India wants to use AH1 to get a transit/corridor from "mainland India" to North East states of India, while Bangladesh want the route to exit to our border with Myanmar, not to Indian North East states. So we have an impasse, mainly because Myanmar does not agree to our preferred route. If AH1 goes through existing planned route, Bangladesh may not allow Indian origin traffic between two parts of India through Bangladesh due to security concern, but all other traffic will be allowed.

Bangladesh needs to improve its relationship with Myanmar, its a Geo-political necessity i believe Bangladesh should approach the matter of this road through Myanmar to China, the Chinese have enough influence on Myanmar & i am convinced that if Bangladesh plays its cards well taking China into full confidence then an opening through Myanmar is very much possible Isha'Allah

is railway between Kunming-Vientienne running in soil Vietnam ?:smokin:

Lol, you wish that China will depend on Vietnam for transit

Here is an overview of Asia highspeed rail. As for VN, we are still looking for money to finance the rail. Some billions USD are needed. China is rich, while we are not :hitwall:

How dare you to say such thing, made in China is cheap, Vietnam can even afford expensive Japanese high speed train...so don't claim that you're poor.:dance3:
