Radar lock on F16 for 4 minutes by Mig 29 !!!

LoL look at the desperation for one lock on of F16. People seem to forget Gulf War and Cold war where MIGs fell out of the sky like raining ants. If MIGs and SUs were so efficient and capable then you people wouldn't be running after 36 Rafales. If it was a SU 35 then you people can gloat as that Aircraft can match any other in American inventory.

F16 has and will always be daddy of all 4th Generation aircart
so wait for real action then you can comment.
Cool story bro.

Rafale's is piece of art f-16 will nowhere stand against it Except by block 60 ( In simulations)

Secondly India purely made this statergy against Chinese flanker's

Well against PAF we already have an edge

Time has changed have some respect for enemy .SU series and even Mig with newer upgrades are quite potent

Turks are pros, they don't have to prove their balls to a cowboy locking his radar on them. NATO is losing patience, and if this trend continues it will lead to a clash. Last time an F-16 & a Mig-29 came face to face this is how it ended.

Losing patience is inevitable. Turkish radars are also locking Russian fighters as a response !

No doubt Rafale is state of the art. Apart from Block 52+ we might not have any counter against it. F16 with MLUs despite new radars, EW and engiene upgrades cant perform that well. Hence comes the need to Pakistan to buy something on the lines of J11B or SU35 which is already in the news.

Upgraded aircraft will never be the same class as newly built machines. Just as F16 MLU will always be inferior to block 52+ as it has already served its purpose.

well , you forget that in Persian Gulf war , a 2nd Generation Army (IRaq ) was facing 3rd Generation Army ( USA ) ... the result was clear from beginning ...

although look like I used wrong words for this ...

Generations of warfare - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

usa was superior in every field , better training , better detective devices ( AWACS ) , better communication between fighters , and better commanders ...

and Iraq already lost most of her best pilots in 8 years long war with Iran ....

Well India has also got same generation aircraft which they recently upgraded. Just because you give a monster truck engiene to a 1300cc car it wont become a monster truck. The matter of fact is that Pakistan at the end of the decade will replace most of its aging aircrafts with jf 17. India couldn't even finalise a rafale deal even after a decade of negotiations.

This is funny

Do you guys thinks 4 min lock and f16 was not even trying to break free from it ? 4 min in fighter like f16 is huge time .. and imagine what pilot was going through ?

4 mins might be like 4 years to that pilot who knows that there is a radar lock on his back side and he was not sure what could be the end here....

either its a fake news or pilot was not properly trained which i doubt as well but 4 min lock on F16 ??

looks like its was done to get better fighters from USA ? could be anything ..

They were collecting radar emission data on the fools using their non visible awacs....
Very professionally done by turkish airforce

I am speechless please review MLU configuration before posting .

Collecting data.

By the way, what is probably a Boeing 737 Peace Eagle airborne early warning & control (AEW&C) aircraft can be spotted every now and then on Flightradar24.com circling at high altitude over southern Turkey, most probably monitoring the movements of the Russian and Syrian planes while collecting some intelligence data as well.
