They are. The ones you refer to are often mixed on the coast with slaves/Arabs/Brahui. Anyway large parts of Balochistan is Pashtun dominated.

@Vishvamitra you need to tag Mr MENA aka @Al-Andalus and show him KSA is similar to South India !

And frankly the map and figures you show are well observable - bar of course the odd deviations or exceptions but we all know what the mean average is for each region. I see that in UK as we have people from all over South Asia. I can with reasonable accuracy predict where they are from, bar the odd exceptions. For example a Tamil or Bangla can be detected at 1000 metre range, Sikhs are more difficult unless they are wearing turbans. Even in Pakistan there is west/east divide and north/south divide. Again exception notwithstanding and relying on mean averages.

And if you prepared that map you deserved + rating although I would need you to cite your sources for the hard data.

I would not say North Indians but yes North West Indian's are to a degree similar to North East Pakistani's and of the same branch although as you pointed out there are still differances in degree. But again I would limit it to North West India. Indian Punjab, Himachal and Haryana. I would classify North West Pakistan as another category because the mean average of Caucusoid is highest in South Asia.

And again respect for well researched and apolitical post. Most Indian's blow smoke up our noses by insisting that from Tamils, to Banglas, to Adivasis Indians to Pashtun Pakistan we are all the same in some vain attempt to create a 'One India' narrative. The moment we respect our differances I think people become more comfortable with each other as they don't want live under foisted identity.

not caste, caste system have nothing to do with this topic. for example, jats are sudras but they are one of the most europoid people in south asia. they score 17% North European !

I found that East Bengalid type very interesting. I have been to Bengal and Assam few times and the people there have a lot of mongoloid influence on their features, mainly their nose and eyes

I just hope that they don't get mixed up with the south India much, otherwise they might end up losing their nice mongoloid looks

Barhuis arent Baloch... but mixed with Baloch tribes...

1) hmm i guess you are right. and i had to lump irano-Afghans with Indo-Aryans to reduce confusion. but we all know that EPople from west pakistan are generally more north European and Robust compared to indo-Aryans of both Regions.

2) we have to accept that there were no Pakistan or India in Ancient times. people used to move freely. during those times. Pakistan and north west India is right next to West asia and Central asia so these regions ultimately developed it's own race. also large no of people migrated to these regions since ancient times. this also changed genetic makeup of people living there.

also, i am not from north West of India.i developed interest in Anthropology because i "looked Different" compared to most of people who are living in my region.

Also my family originated from mirpur (ajk) and we have fair skin and rarely any colored eyes in the family and our caste is bais rajput so are we of indic origin or iranic?

They speak a dravidian language ... according to folk history... after Baloch migrated to present day Balochistan... they were living here.... and some Baloch tribes married brahui women .... hence ... they (brahuis) assimilated among those tribes... but other Baloch tribes remained pure..
