Quran, Bible not central to soul of India, says culture minister Mahesh Sharma

India is champion at linking things with Hinduism which have no link. Like Budhism and Jainism...
As a Muslim, you can barely even scratch the understanding, depth, history and links between the 4 great religions of India - Hinduism, Budhism, Sikhism and Jainism.

.
what an Idiot, Gita is part of the MB , both MB and Ramayana advocate violence and killing of those who don't follow the the so called "Hindu dharma' i.e Ravan in Ramayana and the Kauravas in MB. In present context, Hindutvas will advocate violence to be unleashed upon minorities namely Muslims, Dravidian Tamils and Dalits , as Hindutva perceive these groups not adhering to its version of Hinduism -

What a load of garbage, Ram, Raavan, Pandavas, Kauravs, all were followers of the same religion, Raavan was a great dharmik.

So paganism, paganism, paganism and paganism
Nope. Not happening. The last partition happened because there were two regions of higher Muslim concentration such as present day Pakistan and Bangladesh. But currently the Muslim population is disepersed all over and are no where dominant (except maybe Kashmir valley, which has been taken care of btw). So, at the worst there will be a civil war if things come to that and it will not bode well for the people in lesser number and with lesser influence. So, do not even wish for something like that.

Its inevitable the muslim population is 200 million now and will push onto 300 million

This is a minority but a massive mass of people

The writing is on the wall and it is only a matter of time before a new muslim country has to be carved out of india in order for indian muslims to live free and separate from the hindutva

Slowly but surely the secular republic of india is beginning to unravel

India is a huge country with resources to lend it a very respectable position in the comity of nations. It has a rich and diverse history which should logically have given India a character of different hues and colors making it a truly cosmopolitan place.Just compare how the US with a medley of different races , religions and cultures has proved itself a promised land, without any discrimination.India could be as enchanting, if only it grew out of its petty mind set and acted with magnanimity behooving its status. If some of your politicians out of misplaced sense of glory churn out irresponsible and meaningless concept and doctrines ,you would develop an image of intolerance, bigotry and ignominy.By creating fuss on non issues like the soul of India etc you are back sliding on a trajectory that promises a good future for India. You give up on your antipathy towards Islam and Pakistan ,you will discover your potential.Perhaps your religious books if read carefully would make the Indians better informed that the basic teachings of all religions are same,so you should allow all Indians
to drink from any fountain- with out any form of coercion.I am convinced of the fact that, the present government will land up India in deep trouble if it does not jettison itself of the baggage of history and desist from Islam and pak bashing.

Good post.

have you read the MB and Ramayan ?

Ravan kidnapping Rama's wife and Kauravas usurping Pandavas kingdom both demeaned as un-dharmic or demonic acts by Aryan god incarnate - Rama and Krishna, thus the need to kill Ravan and his subjects i.e Dravidian Tamils and the Kaurava clan of 1000s.

.
True words.. islam and Christianity is not Indian religion and quran and bible can never be central to indian core principles...

...

Hinduism is an external religion for this region as well. If Christianity, Islam, Judaism etc do not belong to Sub continent, neither does Hinduism belong here.

Now you were saying?

Kindly stop being absurd by claiming that you South Indians have anything to do with Indus Civilization, you have absolutely nothing to do with that.

They went down for their adharmik acts, so?

Hinduism is not like other religion....There is no founder of it....It just like collection of other religions or other ways of worships...You can see in Southern India....where there was idol worship even before Hinduism, when Hindusim came it just incorporated these into itself....

By the way I feel South Indians are totally different from Northerners....South Indian people are easy going and well educated and they always refrain from confrontations and peace loving.....

all religion is alien to the sub-continent except the religion of the native Dravidians and Mundas

Whatever Hinduism is, it is as foreigner to the region as the claim from the Indian Tongue-Rambo about Islam, Christianity (and Judaism, which he did not name for obvious reasons,)

Second: Going by the antics of all those South Indians such as Ajit Devil and several others sitting in the top positions, your claim does not stand one bit. They are pure war mongering extremist nutcases.

Meat consumption should be banned in India. Muslims should be killed in India for Bakhra Eid. Internet should also be banned for showing animals being killed and sharing meat based recipes as well. We need to protect the sensitivities of our hindu brethren.

Thanks for your advise. Sorry we are not mirror image of Pakistan so we can not do that. You can continue to enjoy what you do in 1971 and doing there after.

It is unbelievable how this fake country called "India" is laying claim to be the inheritor of the local ancient civilization.

By stealing the name "India" from "British India", they "think" they can fool the world by telling it that they are original people from the region. Not even close!

It is like some day Zimbabwe adopts the name Peru and starts laying claim on Inca Civilization.

The ancient civilization started in the Indus Valley (current day Pakistan) and not in the fake country "India".

Are you currently following or preserving the Indus Valley Civilization ?
Pakistan completely ignored that piece of history only because of the reason it was harvested and grown by Hindus.
Today you are using the same point to your advantage in this forum. How cruel !!
Pakistan is there by chance. That's all. You are not the guardian of IVC.
And Pakistanis don't have the face to call any other country in the world a fake one.
Pakistan means 'land of the pure'. Is your country and its people currently living synonymous to that name ?
What about FATA, Balochs, Durand Line conflict and all ?
Don't be completely naive and show some rationale.

Hinduism to the core has single philosophy that is based on Vedas, Dharmic religions like Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism also have some commonality with Vedas.

Vedas are native to India.

Question is who came and lived here prosperously before other conquerors ?
That always matters.
If we go by your logic then this whole world doesn't belong to us or any religion.

Wrong, Hinduism is an ideology imposed on the people of this region by foreign invaders.

You have absolutely nothing to claim being the original from this region.

We Pakistanis on the other hand have the whole Indus Valley Civilization behind us to claim that we are the real people from the region.

India is a fake country, a mere space and collection of forcefully occupied territories and states. That is why you have insurgencies in more than 20 states.

Now go figure.
