United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Saturday strongly condemned the series of deadly attacks targeting a bus, a hospital facility and a national monument Balochistan, which left at least 20 civilians dead, many of whom were female students.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Ban said no cause justifies such violence, and noted with dismay that “violence against women and educators has increased in recent years, the aim being to keep girls from attaining the basic right to education.”

The banned militant organisation Laskhar-e-Jhangvi claimed that it had attacked the bus carrying female university students in Quetta via a suicide bombing. As the dead and injured were rushed to hospital, gunmen stormed the hospice. At least 25 people were killed in the series of attacks which also saw the national monument, the Quaid-e-Azam residency being blown up.

Ban called on the Pakistan government “to do all possible to bring the perpetrators to justice” and expressed the UN’s solidarity “in the face of continued terrorist violence in Pakistan.”

You will agree or not but PPP, PMLN, PTI etc. are all from one nation, society and mentality, and mentality is that we ever adopt defensive position rather than aggressive even where it dead needed. I didn't see when any government in Pakistan refrain theirselves from kissing India and USA, UK rather than stand on respect and dignity. They ever blame on Pakistan even if Pakistan is not involved but we ever tried not to leak even if they directly involved. Problem is that as the nation we still failed to set our measures in front of the world or even in front of own people. We are playing deadly politics with own people when other used to play in proxy territory. Slaves of KSA, Slaves of Iran, Slaves of USA/UK so when we will be slave of our nation too? Why a simple principle hard to understand that any other country has damn care what will happened to you but we run their politics because they are richer than us...Do we have any self respect?

Still man, I still don't get why the Saudis want to mess stuff up in Pakistan, that's what you posit as the reason..but why are Iranis and the Saudis trying this hard..at the end of the day its not as if they'll actually be able to "rule" Pakistan either way.
