Questions about Pakistanis, Indian Muslims and Bangladeshis

Not only Pakistani indian and bungalli rather world over, Islam is a tremendous way of living this life. Islam in its true spirt, in the teaching of Quran e Kaream and Muhammad salallahowasalim is most powerful force to make inseparable undefeatable one nation world over. History proved that enemies of islam couldn't win by fighting. So the only way out, they weaked our unity and faith.. the Islam by attracting us on their own anti Islamic way of living and business (non islamic social ways, interest based business and anti islamic laws).

And we are ethnic, local, national and devided weak vulnerable. It is the biggest fact and truth but time always changes and time is giving way to new era. Yes muslim era its a early dawn time of new era. Enemies of islam sensed it very strongly and are using utmost power through hooks and crooks (recall bush speech before attacking Afghanistan "they are to change our ways...") but it has to happen. To clarify further daish and ttp never attacked israel and india (subsequently) so its very clear both are non rather anti Islamic in origin (covert war against islam).

I agree it had nothing to do with the split.

Had religion been a unifying force the concept of Ummah would be worldwide.

The states you mentioned stay together because of a common goal in development. Something that was lacking in E Pak's case. Try pulling out progress & development & watch hwo quickly states seek to break off & this does not apply to Pak alone.
You people misunderstand concept of Ummah. It dont mean one country for all Muslims worldwide. It just mean you care about fellow Muslim no matter which country they are from and where they live

secondly why Muslims of sub continents felt the need of separate country if religion was irrelevant and why they did not stay together because of this common goal in economic development ?

Some other religion will come up with a new view on both of them tomorrow...but the reality remains the same..The fact is...they were born jews, they lived as jews and they died as jews.
Sure all religion have different views of them and every one is free to view them as they wish but for us they were muslims

@Hiptullha

Remove pakistani army and pakistan would divide along its provincial and ethnic lines with a few days.

It's the pakistani army that's holding pakistan together - not Islam - not its constitution.

Thank you for your post, however I was aware of the concept of Ummah.

Did W Pak care for those in E Pak ? Evidently not . If Ummah did not apply within a nation there is little chance of its sucess internationally as we see.

On your second point , they did feel the need for a separate nation but having got it then the 'c ommon enemy' disappeared & internal prejudices surfaced . The result was break up.

why same cannot be said for India.

India does not stay together because of what the IA does , the IA has no role internally.

How can you blame all Muslims for wrong doing of few power hungry politician in establishment? Dont tell me that your establishment will give right of freedom to any Indian sate if they decide to split from India tomorrow.. Would not your politicians will try to suppress any such movement the way it happening in kashmir?

No, it was your attitude towards Muslims that made up their mind about separate country for religious identity as well as for political power

Made in 1958 ...re edited in 78..and made a mockery of multiple times by dictators.?
yea your secular constitution also sound great on paper :)

I am not blaming all muslims .

I do blame people living in the land for not raising their voice when things go wrong. I do not recall any opposition to what was happening in EP in WP. Thats all.

Similarly, there is not any visible push back to the fundamentalists happening in the Muslim world.

Despite the adulation for Modi there is active opposition to what is Govt does in India, so much that the Govt has had to back track on some issues.

Its ok if the Muslims wanted a separate state .. their call. However the fact that an equal number chose to stay in India says something.

Selam to everyone,

I have some questions on my mind that I would like to ask but I'm afraid that some might feel insulted.
Anyway, that's not my intention. I apologise in advance if anybody should feel I have insulted them or trodden on their toes. It's just...I don't know much about the identities and cultures in India/Pakistan/Bangladesh. To be honest, some things confuse me.

Last year I met a Pakistani and a Bangladeshi guy at the university. Both super nice, they were real friends. There was no problem at all. Last week I met another exchange student from Bangladesh. As the overwhelming majority of Bangladeshis this guy was polite, nice and intelligent. Unfortunately, at the end of our talk I found out, that he is a real Pakistan hater.

I was like: Whuaaat?!

So, I have tons of questions:

How is the relationship between Pakistanis and Bangladeshis today?

Is Bangladesh pro India?

What (with the exception of the language) are the cultural differences between Pakistani and Bangladeshi societies?

Do Pakistani and Indian Muslims see themselves as a part of one nation divided in two countries?

Is Pakistan a "desi" country? Actually, isn't "desi" a racist label?

I would welcome your response. Please excuse my bad command of English.
Pakistanis and Bangladeshis at least at public level love each other and both realize what happened in 1971 was really bad. In 2015 most Bangladeshis hate India because of its policy of killing Bangladeshis on border and also bullying Bangladesh and supporting Hasina Wajid. Desi is not racist word basically it is used for people or things related to South Asia. No majority of Pakistanis don't see India as part of one nation that is why we have most famous TWO NATION THEORY. I hope I answered you well @KediKesenFare

As the Turks became a target of Arabs' hatred after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the same way the Pakistanis became a target of Bengalis' hatred. The Pakistani authorities belonging to West Pakistan mishandled the situation boosted by India in the former East Pakistan the same mishandling way the Ottomans carried the situation of the Middle East. The soldiers belonging to the side of West Pakistan badly mistreated the Bengalis. Later, the govts. established in Bangladesh boosted hatred against Pakistan and Pakistanis.

However, the common Bengalis and the common Pakistanis are very friendly in the Middle Eastern countries. I personally had very good friends among the Bengalis.

@Raja.Pakistani

Let's stick to E Pakistan and west pakistan bcoz that was the point of discussion. .you cannot comprehend India's constitution because it's unique.

When you say constitution and Islamic you end up conflicting yourself. Islamic is based on a monotheistic society and a monotheistic way of life that is ruled by sharia..where does constitution or space for diversity come into this mental makeup?.

First of all we are Muslims and brothers
Once upon a time Bangladesh was part of Pakistan and they were true Pakistanis
We lived in separate countries but we have same history even Pakistan movement was start from east Pakistan
We love them and Bangladeshi people also love Pakistani as they showed world in Asia cup match against India.
Just like we have corrupted govt they also have corrupted and family government in Bangladesh. As there are many culture difference in Pakistan's every province yes we do have cultural difference but not religion difference.
I really don't know about Indian Muslims but as we heard about Hindu are dominating and killing Muslims in India without any strong reason just due to religion. We feel bad for them but Indian Muslim should united themselves against terror by Hindus
Yes Pakistan is a Desi country but we not racist country as every country have religion groups we do have religion groups but religion did teach hate and killing of innocent
Desi dose not mean that we racist country
