Questions about Pakistanis, Indian Muslims and Bangladeshis

I partly understand the hostility towards Indian muslims in Pakistan. I mean when we were being killed and massacred why did these loyal muslims and ghulams not raise their voice for us even once. Not one muslim rights group is even focused on the death of our people outside the Andhra Pradesh high court.

Second those who stayed forgot the core reasons and the despondency muslims felt which forced them to vouch for Pakistan. Similarly those who migrated were dominated by religious zeal and forgot the benefits of the secular system-both in my eyes were wrong. Then we migrants did not try to Pakistanize and merge the muslims left in Lucknow with Pakistan.

One reason for this anti migrant mentality is that we formed a mafia like the MQM and started voting for it regardless of the fact that it was heavily involved in violence. Born in 1984 from 1986-1996 10000 people were killed in Karachi. Syed Jamaluddin asked for the break up of Pakistan. These were the same children of Indian muslims who migrated from Indian occupied lands. Instead of the betterment of Pakistan muhajirs concern became gaining (extra) rights and kicking the pashtuns out of Karachi.

I want to apologize to my brothers like @ghilzai and @KPK for the behavior of our people. I only request them that despite our mistakes do not give up on us and some of us are trying our best to integrate locally and respect the culture. I intend to merge as a pashtun.

lucknowi pashtun ? :partay:
There are many pashtun born people in Lucknow-we don't have any proven ancestry but some of us could have been pashtun along with our ancestors. Fatehpur is full of pathans and Rohillas also dominate UP-the only difference is our people have forgotten the gift of pashto. Saif Ali Khan and Shahrukh Khan are proven pashtuns. Other actors with khan surname are unproven ones but are suspected to have pashtun background.

Jinnah intended us to merge with local ethnic groups when we came to Pakistan so I believe merging as a pashtun can be a solution to our ethnic problem and since I have had more exposure to pashtuns-I'd like to become a pashtun.

I definitely cannot comprehend Indian constitution who ban slaughter of cow based on Hindu scriptures and then you guys call it secularism. I definitely cannot comprehend Indian constitution who has different family laws for different people based on their religion and even keep caste based quota systems

Hinduism is based on a polytheist society and polytheist way of life that should be ruled according to Hindu ideology..where does constitution or space for minority or low castes come into this mental make up?

Its your ignorance if you believe Islamic society is lawless intolerant society where non Muslims dont get any rights. Most modern secular principles are very much compatible with Islam except probably open immoral sex or freedom of wine/gambling. Islamic society have principles and guidelines essential for social, political and spiritual guidance of humanity. The very first Islamic state established in Medina was based on a social contract which was constitutional in character and the ruler ruled with the explicit written consent of all the citizens of the state.

Can we chant love for some thankless afghan brother in Islam who try to insult daal khor Punjabi day and night ? :D
I love every Muslim who respect me , my country and people. I hate only those who are arrogant, racist and bigot no matter where they from. Why should i hate those Bengali, Indian or afghan muslims who are kind toward me and dont keep any hatred for me? I am not blind hater

Islamic societies have many guidelines which go against modern secularism.
They don't allow criticism of the religion( at least in practice), people can't leave the religion out of their free will, people aren't allowed to marry interfaith( girls in particular), girls don't have leadership roles on the religious side.
These are in addition to the lack of sexual freedom that you mentioned.

Indian society is weakly secular. I would prefer the secularism to be on the lines of western nations.
There is a lot of opposition to the beef ban and personal laws from the liberals in our country. They will be removed in the near future, most likely.

Actually it was the Bengali Muslims who were in the forefront of the independent struggle. Muslim was founded in Dacca in 1906 with Nawab Mohsinul -mulk as one of the founding members. Sadly, history as taught in schools and mentioned in the text books has been adulterated in India, Pakistan as well as in Bangla Desh. Past is now seen thru a nationalistic kaleidoscope instead on how it actually was. Additionally, ‘Raison d’etre’ of the Two Nation theory was fear of being overwhelmed by the Hindus. After independence this danger no longer existed and ethnicity based on language took-over.

Many of the older generation who lived thru a united Pakistan have a different approach than the younger ones. In my opinion, seeds of the discord were sown during the language riots in 1948. Later when Mr Hussein Shaheed Suharwardy left Muslim League and joined AK Fazal Haq & Maulana Bhashani as United Front in 1954 elections that defeated Muslim League in East Pakistan; a covert separatist movement germinated which culminated in the bitter 1971 bifurcation. I remember Sh.Mujibur Rahman declaring that he had been working for separation for 20 years.

As Pakistan has been hijacked by the originally anti-Pakistan & anti-Quaid parties and India has been taken over by the RSS that killed Mahatma Gandhi , something similar probably happened to Bangla Desh.

In consequence, despite the fact the in Sindh & in Punjab majority of the population can trace their history to Scythians ( Jats) and Hindu Rajputs, some in Pakistani (Jamaat Islami in particular) deny our heritage and claim that Pakistan’s history started with Mohammed bin Qassin. As if that is land was totally bare and no one lived here before 711 AD. I am therefore not surprised that some Bangla Deshis start their history in 197; hating Pakistanis and thinking that they were treated as the colonial subjects by the West Pakistanis.

Indeed there were injustices done to the Bengalis, they were in the majority and should have had majority of the high civil service posts. Nevertheless, out of the 6 Pakistani Prime Ministers until 1958; half namely Khawaja Nazimuddin, Mohammed Ali Bogra & Suharwardy were Bengalis. Out of the 4 Governor Generals until 1956; when Pakistan became a Republic; Khawaja Nazimuddudin & Iskander Mirza were from Bengal. (Iskandar Mirza was from Mushidabad, in West Bengal).

From 1958 until 1971 Pakistan was under the Military rule.

In my view, all that was in the past and bygone should have be treated as ‘bygone’. I sincerely hope that Bangla Deshis & Pakistanis should start treating each other as brothers, which they were for 25 years.

First of all we are Muslims and brothers
Once upon a time Bangladesh was part of Pakistan and they were true Pakistanis
We lived in separate countries but we have same history even Pakistan movement was start from east Pakistan
We love them and Bangladeshi people also love Pakistani as they showed world in Asia cup match against India.
Just like we have corrupted govt they also have corrupted and family government in Bangladesh. As there are many culture difference in Pakistan's every province yes we do have cultural difference but not religion difference.
I really don't know about Indian Muslims but as we heard about Hindu are dominating and killing Muslims in India without any strong reason just due to religion. We feel bad for them but Indian Muslim should united themselves against terror by Hindus
Yes Pakistan is a Desi country but we not racist country as every country have religion groups we do have religion groups but religion did teach hate and killing of innocent
Desi dose not mean that we racist country

Get a grip brother, we are not a Desi country, don't insult me and my nation with that word and no we don't give two hoots about Indian Muslims, they are culturally, linguistically different and are illegitimate children of turco Afghans

I have no love for afghans too regardless if they are pro or anti Pak, I share much with them from same culture to language to history but they see me as an outsider as a Pakistani and i see them through the same lense as they are outsiders and Afghans for me.

Afghans are not just generally anti Punjabi but more anti Pukhtoon as we have showed them a middle finger and called ethnic groups of Pakistan as our kith and kin.

Yar try to understand that I have no bad feelings towards migrants and wether they tried to mix with the mainstream or not is their business, I see them as Pakistanis and only Pakistanis wether they see themselves in the same light or not.

I don't really care about Lucknow nor do I care about Indian Muslims and I definitely don't want any mergers with anybody and especially those who I share nothing with, next we will want merger with Somalians after all they are Muslim too.

Bangladesh and Pakistan should never have been a single country. It was a strategic blunder. Just like choosing a language from Bharat as the national language of Pakistan.
