Question for indians; Do you remember this video

. .
My favorite was Shaktimaan. I was crazy for it like hell.

This was the only series of which I still remember timings . Earlier it was 11AM -12 PM on saturday and then it started on 12 PM -1PM on sunday.

That was my first super hero and superstart. would never forget it in my whole life

Good old days..
When I was a kid i wondered how a single arrow can multiply mid air and kill/injure multiple soldiers
When I grew up a lil, I wondered how a woman can bear child by worshipping a river/eating a fruit
Now I wonder how enthusiastically I used to wait for the show to start every week.

It was some thing like

He-man and the masters of the universe

some thing some thing ( memory garbage )

I met a Sikh guy from India, and he named more Pakistani serials then even I knew of.

At that time Sunday morning used to be great fun to us. There was Disney hours, Ramayan, Mahabharata, Mr ya Mrs, Rajani ( A housewife warrior against corruption) and what not. No Shas bahu BS those days.

One more great comedy show " Ye jo hai Jindegi"

Chitrahar , wednesday 8 PM. I was not allowed to see that initially. Still rember how a new boy in Qayamat se qayamat tak mesmerised us with " Hai meye hamsafar" song. Before that "Sagar jayse aakhowali" song in film "Sagar" also made halchal.

There were few National integration cartoons too like " ek titli--anek titliyan"--we like those too.

There were legendary ads like Bajaj lights ( Ham jab chote bache the), Hajmola ( Hajmola sir), Liril, Lux dream flower shop, Nirma etc. All are part of our chield hood.

Things changed rapidly. Remember those good old days

Howmany of you remember this one?

Fondly rember that flying robot :)

Not many we used to watch mostly urdu movies and film songs , very rarely would we watch anything else on indian doordarshan TV. Also this was the case only with areas near the border with india where the signals of doordarshan were strong enough, most of the pakistanis farther away from border areas were not able to watch indian doordarshan TV due to weak or non-existent signals.
