Quaid’s monument to be demolished in Peshawar

So jinnah gave you identity? you were identity-less before 1947? that might be case with you people but we pashtuns were not identity-less before 1947 neither our struggle and wars against british have any thing to do with jinnah and co. You are so thankful to him for giving you identity that you now worship him? pathetic......there is no greater man than prophet mohammad p.b.u.h for us, he was the "qauid-e-azam" not jinnah.
By the way i am not a mullah , i am giving you reference from the religion which jinnah and co used as a tool to have separate country from hindus even though they themselves were irreligious ...

what the hell are u talkin about pashtun?! how this is worship? we are not hindus who wroship everything. show your true face, i know u ppl ANA supporters are pro India Afghanistan .

So jinnah gave you identity?
Actually yes he did, and don't just take my word, care to ask any of the other 200 million or so Pakistanis?

you were identity-less before 1947?
Actually yes, we did not have a unified identity to rally behind before Pakistan.

that might be case with you people but we pashtuns were not identity-less before 1947
 Oh, that old chestnut... Whilst it is an ethnic identity it is not the same as a NATIONAL identity, which M.A. Jinnah provided us.

any thing to do with jinnah and co.
Hector Bolitho and other men far greater then you or me, would disagree with that statement.

You are so thankful to him for giving you identity that you now worship him? pathetic......
There is a very big difference between worship and respect, my friend you are very confused.

even though they themselves were irreligious
Be careful now sir, let me quote something from the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH):
“Every Muslim who calls a Muslim infidel will have the epithet returned to him.”

It was a referendum (on the spot) which took place near Bala Hisar Fort and the people wanted to be part of Pakistan instead going independent
Wrong, the option of independent country was not given in the referendum , there were only two options, india and Pakistan....are you confident that people of NWFP could have chosen pakistan if option of Afghanistan was also included in the referendum?....most of the people boycotted it, among voters only 51% said Yes.......very close, pay special thanks to people of hazara. Remember that pashtuns were never dependent on hindi muslims in their struggle against british occupations and invasions.
... and just because of that Bacha Khan didn't want to be buried among Pakistani Pakhtuns or in a Pakistani controlled land.
Your assumption that bacha khan didnt want to bury among pakistani pakhtuns is false and ridiculous, it is the first time i am reading this kind of claim.....why you as a pashtun is so hurt on his burial in jalalabad? is'nt jalalabad a pashtun and muslim city?

Dude Luffy,

Do you consider yourself Pakistani, or Afghan?

. .
Be careful now sir, let me quote something from the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH):

I didnt called them infidels, i called them irreligous which means neglectful of religion. Jinnah, agha khan and nawabs, sardars, jagirdars in muslim league were not religous people.

Dude Luffy,

Do you consider yourself Pakistani, or Afghan?

I am Afghan/pashtun by ethnicity, pakistani by nationality, muslim by religion.

Another iillegal Afgan perhaps :rolleyes::disagree:

You are contradicting yourself, let me help you:

Infidel = (literally "one without faith")

So sir, i ask you again why do you feel you are better in the eyes of god then those you so openly condemn? If you are indeed pious then i would urge you to seek repentance and forgiveness form your lord for your ignorance.

@ haviZsultan.

Thanks for your awesome post.

I agree. This racial tension is ridiculous.

We are all Pakistanis.

Every one of us just wants what a basic human wants. Security, enlightenment, and happiness.

None of the guys on this forum chose their ethnicity or looks or even country.

As a Punjabi, I can say I am a Pashtun and a Pashtun is Punjabi.

We are all in this together.

If Zardari steals from me, he is stealing from a Pashtun in KPK as well.

I just want to say Pakistani Zindabad, and that too without sounding redundant, because when I say Pakistan, I mean every last one of us.

Reminds me of what a cabbie from Waziristan told me in Abu Dhabi,he called Imran Khan as a farzi pathan,i wonder what he would make of your statement.

Why he chose Jalalbad? Do you even know the fact why he was buried in Jalalbad - where his native village or place is Charsaddah which is in Pakistan? He whispered during his last breaths to his assistants to burn his body (Mujhay Marnay Ke Baad Jalao)... upon consultation by the people surrounding his body, the assistant said; he wishes to be buried in Jalalabad... (Jalao and Jalalbad; the resemblance of the words) and hence his body was sent to Jalalabad instead of Jalao.

Anyway, I've enough of these debates with people like you but the point is; whatever has happened in the past is a past; it's time to look forward to the future... my identity is Pakistan and I'm very proud of it; if you're so concerned about your identity of Pakhtunwali which is Afghanistan; gave up your CNIC and move to Afghanistan and live among your ethnic people.

PS: Do read the oath you've signed while applying for your CNIC. Whatever you're saying is traitor-ship to the country which gave you protection and an identity. Give up your CNIC or shut-up.

Guys Please keep in Mind that Thousands of Afghanis have studied with us in Our Schools and know everything about History past,Present of Pakistan as much as us and can Easily Masquerade as Pakistanis and spew their usual hatred against our country....So dont take everyone Serious...

mujay jalao? Bacha khan was speaking in urdu in his last breaths? Who feed you these rediculous and funny stories, that zanakar imran khan?
Any how i have confirmed one thing from your post..you are not a pashtun, you are a hindkowan of peshawer...
And havi sultan wont agree with you that pashtun ethnic identity and pakhtunwali are afghanistan's. You are suggesting me to move to afghanistan if ethnic identity and pakhtunwali are so dear to me, you are implying that it is afghanistan which is homeland of pashtuns and is reservoir of pakhto and pakhtunwali. While there is no place for pakhtun cultural identity in pakistan...
I agree with you.

In refugee schools their own text books of afghanistan are taught to them, they learn dari and pashto not urdu.

Well that wazir guy was not wrong about imran khan. Niazis of mianwali are racially mixed with awans and jats, culturally they are punjabis and linguistically they are seraiki people. They are punjabi-pathans like hazarewals.

Recently when Luffy insulted my ancestry and that also at a place where he had the backing of dozens of extremely racist Afghans (funny how he runs off each time on any other forum), somewhere unluckily for him I cannot even reply because the monkey of an Afghan admin who claimed to be the paragon of tolerance locked me out of my account claiming it was an SQL issue (Surprisingly this happened to two other Pakistani patriots so seems only Pakistanis get locked) I was enraged.

Now I actually feel sorry for him. I mean how unfortunate can these MQM people (particularly who insult other ethnic groups in shiny living rooms while others starve on the streets) and Luffy-type people be when they cannot grasp, cannot begin to understand the beautiful bond between the Pakistani people, between the various races obfuscating it in claims of non-existent "oppression" and Altaf/Karzai worship. I thought knowing my background he would perhaps apologize... understand the sacrifices I have made to learn about Pashtun culture and promote harmony or even if he was a racist appreciate the limited Pashtun blood in me (not confirmed though)... but this is beyond such people.

I thought he would learn from this experience, understand that ethnicity is a very fluid concept which can change with time and there are bigger things than it but it is beyond his ethno-fascist Afghan (National sense) brainwashed head.

Many months ago I spent time on an Afghan-dominated Pashtun forum particularly for research on my book. That time might have been the hardest time of my life and I can say not even when Canada with the backing of our traitorous allies (USA) and of course India did everything to harass me and destroy the Pakistan Nationalist Association I did not feel so unsure, so nervous about the fate of my country than I did while I was on that forum. It felt like all my life, all my sacrifices for Pakistan, everything I had done was for nothing.

I know I will die for my patriotism to Pakistan like Major Shafaat and my sacrifices for this country not even considered but I will not give up even if my own government, my own people decide to oppress me... for this is my home and my life is in its service as stated in the Nationalist creed.

Also please, please, please learn a lesson from this. I know a lot of people who are gleefully bashing Luffy have a Luffy in them. There are people among you who vote on the basis of ethnicity... a seasoned person can read it like a book. Look at yourself... start from your home.

If you can't stop voting in MQM's (Urdu-speakers) PMLN's (Punjab) PPP (Sindhi-apparently almost no sindhis here!) and ANP (Pashtuns-will be kicked out soon for PTI) at least do this: If someone around you insults other races in Pakistan STAND UP for them, fight for them, defend them, if one from another race within Pakistan does it... don't attack his race because it will exacerbate ethnic tensions... learn his history and beat him at the bullshit he spews. I sum it up here (edited):

Instead of teaching our kids that we muhajirs/Pashtuns/Sindhis/Punjabis/Balochs made Pakistan and made 90% of the sacrifices (In the case of separatists it becomes that we are superior!) for it we should have told them that we collectively as Pakistanis made sacrifices and each race has rendered supreme sacrifice for its formation and NO RACE has done more than the other. But we are little Taliban who, to defend Altaf would jump into a river of fire like a Bollywood hero (Just see how people defend his partition speech which according to our Nationalist proposed laws should be punishable by death) so why would we teach them that?

Also Luffy-like people are bigoted, YES, but ALSO victims of our attitudes. I am from Karachi... have you seen the behavior here against Pashtuns, Sindhis and Balochs. We might very well be CREATING another LUFFY in our houses, streets and neighbourhoods and as my time on that forum proved... even a movement for the DIVISION OF PAKISTAN because this was what people there wanted and it was not just Afghans (Nation)
