The 2022 World Cup won't go to Europe because the 2018 World Cup will already be hosted in Russia.

The 2022 World Cup will be held in an Asian country.

Yeah I forgot about that. Anyway I don't think any Asian nation has great infrastructure for football except South Korea and Japan.

Qatar is failing on multiple counts.

No european country can build the infra at such short notice.

China has too much money lying around and can do well by generating some economic activity by putting those idle funds into meaningful circulation and of course it has enough skill to build stadiums overnight. Though i doubt it's national team's capability to make it into the advanced stages.

I also agree that the World Cup 2022 ought to be held in China instead of Qatar.
As long as its not held in "Qatar". For 3 obvious reasons. There are multiple other ones, but I wont go too in depth:

1. The scorching temperature.
2. Qatar has absolutely no football pedigree. It has never qualified to a World Cup, and never won anything major (like the Asian Cup) regionally.
It buys talent from overseas, so about 80-90 % of the "Qatari" national team consist of players from other contintents (mainly Africa and Latin America). The few Arab players it does have in its team are not even from Qatar, but from countries like Iraq, Palestine etc. lol
3. Qatar is barely a country.
200 k people, if we exclude the million workers from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, that work in Qatar under slave like conditions.

Anyone who even thinks of the idea of comparing a country like Qatar to China, must be admitted to a psychiatric ward immediately.

World Cup is always on a grander larger and much more extravagant scale than UEFA cup.

Which European country is willing to spend the billions on expansion of stadiums and other infra like hotels, roads which need to further built for a FIFA world cup.

World cup should be awarded to England. England all ready has the structure to hold world cup. The stadiums will need some repairs and extensions but if the decision is taken now England can hold a really memorable and safe world cup.

That way we won't have an excuse not to make it to the quarter finals, and it'd be easier to get tickets.
