That is the whole point. Taliban are unable to offer anything to Afghan people other than war and religious bigotry. The moment the stop making war it will be the end of them. So this fence at the Durand Line has the same meaning for Afghan Pashtuns and Pashtuns here as well, it has somehow divided the families, there travel and stopped the free trade, seems as though.

But on the positive side it has stopped the arms supply and smuggling, the TTP crossing into Pakistan as well. Now with Taliban there, this all has become less.

And why can't Pakistan claim the Pashtun area of Afghanistan just as they claiming ours, as the Pashtun population in Pakistan is easily three times than that of Afghanistan, it's a case of smaller areas amalgating with the bigger ones, FATA joined with KPK and Pakistan...

So this hypothetical Durand Line can be used to our advantage...

I have noticed that Osint twitter account has many related accounts under that same name Osint spreading only fake news and besides 95% of all Afghanistan related news is fake especially IEA related.. I knew this was off and especially a new one that came earlier

Afghan Taliban and IEA are the best option available for Pakistan's security and geopolitical interest in the region. There will be few areas of contention with IEA (everyone in Pakistan knew that, unlike libturds who think they found alchemy by stating the obvious). Pakistan should try to work with IEA and figure out a mutually agreeable working relationship at the border between two nations, without giving up on our core interests.

THIS is how modern state-to-state relations work. Navigating through best available options and protecting/advancing your interests while doing so. Pakistani fanatics on both sides are too childish to understand this. But to be honest, I have rarely seen religious fanatics arguing that we should hand over Pakistan to IEA. Its mostly secular-nationalist ret@rds who want Pakistan to bomb Kabul & wreck our relationship with IEA just because Taliban are baddie "bIGOtS" and dont allow nightclubs in Kandhar

Many people keep suggesting that SEAL the border and END this problem once and for all.

Pakistan would have gladly done it if it was possible. Technically its not possible for Pakistan to SEAL Afghanistan border. The border is 2700 KMs long. Even the fencing is not complete and the fence can be cut off really quickly. TTP has cut & went through fence multiple times. At best it serves to stop the movement for some period of time until infiltrators use cutters to make way.

Just for reference even monitoring 100 KM patch of border becomes a challenge, there's 100s of ways to get pass through, rivers, mountains, valleys, could use cave systems / tunnels.. or just walk through the border. Even USA with trillion dollar industry and world's best technology, satellites, drones could not found a way to Stop infiltration.

I think its best if we discuss whats possible and whats not. Its clearly, impossible for Pakistan's tiny economy to allocate billions of dollars and 100s of thousands of soldiers to guard the border. Perhaps we can stop the inflitration if we move 500,000 troops from indian border to Afghan border. But obviously, thats not going to happen as the primary threat is from eastern border.

So, attacking and killing IEA is directly proportional to shooting your own foot. Its like hitting a nest of bees. They would find a 1000 holes in the border, infiltrate and do suicide bombings. IEA is a groups of maniacs. They give a damn to their people's welfare. Only way for us is to back Pro-Pakistan groups within IEA. Another approach to keep the filth away from Pakistan border is the successful use of ground intelligence which creates chaos on other borders of Afghanistan. So they keep away from Pak-Afg border.

The amount of conversations I have had with Afghans and they straight up tell me "Pakistan wasn't a country before 1947" or "Kabul to attock is all Afghan land". They even tell me "Your ancestors came from Afghanistan".

They are STUCK in the past, the amount of times I've been called "Panjapai Ghulamano" for supporting Pakistan is innumerable. Glad, my fellow peers are waking up.
