He turned him away. On the following day, he (Ma'iz) again came to him and said: Allah's Messenger, I have committed adultery. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) turned him away for the second time, and sent him to his people saying: Do you know if there is anything wrong with his mind. They denied of any such thing in him and said: We do not know him but as a wise good man among us, so far as we can judge. He (Ma'iz) came for the third time, and he (the Holy Prophet) sent him as he had done before. He asked about him and they informed him that there was nothing wrong with him or with his mind. When it was the fourth time, a ditch was dug for him and he (the Holy Prophet) pronounced judgment about him. He (the narrator) said: There came to him (the Holy Prophet) a woman from Ghamid and said: Allah's Messenger, I have committed adultery, so purify me. He (the Holy Prophet) turned her away. On the following day she said: Allah's Messenger, Why do you turn me away? Perhaps, you turn me away as you turned away Ma'iz. By Allah, I have become pregnant. He said: Well, if you insist upon it, then go away until you give birth to (the child). When she was delivered she came with the child (wrapped) in a rag and said: Here is the child whom I have given birth to. He said: Go away and suckle him until you wean him. When she had weaned him, she came to him (the Holy Prophet) with the child who was holding a piece of bread in his hand. She said: Allah's Apostle, here is he as I have weaned him and he eats food. He (the Holy Prophet) entrusted the child to one of the Muslims and then pronounced punishment. And she was put in a ditch up to her chest and he commanded people and they stoned her. Khalid b Walid came forward with a stone which he flung at her head and there spurted blood on the face of Khalid and so he abused her. Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) heard his (Khalid's) curse that he had hurried upon her. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Khalid, be gentle. By Him in Whose Hand is my life, she has made such a repentance that even if a wrongful tax-collector were to repent, he would have been forgiven. Then giving command regarding her, he prayed over her and she was buried

What is the status of the hadith you posted?, is it a Da'eef/Weak or Maudu/fabricated, forged or Hasan/good or Sahih/Authentic, Hadiths are historical documents and one cannot simply post it without verifying the validation criteria's set behind it and one such criteria's is that a hadith can never contradict the Quran, here I'll post a better answer for this.

Others are collections where various amounts of vetting is performed. There are some hadith collection which are considered more reliable (though even in those books you may find contradictory hadith).

  • Sunan al-Sughra by al-Nasa'i,

  • Sunan ibn Majah by Ibn Majah.
Even if you take a single collection from the 6 collection mentioned above you may find contradictory hadith. I personally suggest you to be very careful about narrating a hadith unless you have studied the required sciences to be able to distinguish between authentic and non-authentic ones and when in doubt do not accept a hadith following Quran's advice (c.f. verses 17:36, 29:8, 31:15), particularly when you see it is not consistent with Quran and hopefully Allah will guide us to his path."

This specific act is totally unacceptable as the witnesses have not been produced in this case.

Firstly the punishment for any crime if proven guilty is carried out by law not by any individual and secondly keep in mind that adultery and acting indecently (provocative clothes etc) are two different things and as the verse you yourself posted the punishment for acting indecently is confined to the house until she repents provided the 4 reliable witnesses are produced and all the criteria's set for the accuser are met.

How the Prophet (S.A.W) Raised His Daughters

All historians agree that the Prophet (S.A.W) , had four daughters, and they all witnessed the advent of Islam, became Muslims and joined the journey of Hijrah (emigration) to Madeenah. His daughters were: Faatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, who was born five years before the Prophet (S.A.W) , became a prophet and was given the mission of prophethood and the message of Islam; Zaynab, may Allah be pleased with her, who was married to Al-‘Aas ibn Ar-Rabee’, may Allah be pleased with him; and Ruqayyah and Umm Kulthoom, may Allah be pleased with them both, who were married to ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan, may Allah be pleased with him, as ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan married Umm Kulthoom after the death of Ruqayyah, may Allah be pleased with the three of them.

Only Allah The Almighty knows the wisdom behind the fact that the Prophet (S.A.W), had four daughters; however, some scholars maintain that this could have been due to the following reason:

  • Before Islam, the Arabs considered having a daughter to be a dishonor and believed that daughters deserved to be buried alive. Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide.}[Quran 16:58] It was mentioned in the interpretation of this verse that the father suppressed his grief over the fact that a daughter was born to him. “Keep it in humiliation” refers to the fact that fathers who did not bury their daughters alive, humiliated them, did not entitle them to receive inheritance, did not care for them, and favored their sons over them. Allah The Almighty willed that the Prophet (S.A.W), would be the father of daughters in order for him to be a role model for all believers and to teach them the rights and status of women that were granted by Islam. It was a turning point in the life of women that the Prophet (S.A.W), had daughters. ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattaab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “By Allah, in Jaahiliyyah [pre-Islamic ignorance] we did not use to care the least about women until Allah revealed His verses regarding them and granted them certain rights.”
  • Another reason was to protect the Prophet (S.A.W), against any possible false accusation that he relied on the support of his sons, as relying on one’s sons was the custom of the Arabs at that time. The religion that was revealed to the Prophet (S.A.W), spread on earth as it is the truth - the only truth. The truth is always strong enough to prevail. In Jaahiliyyah, the Arabs would wish to have sons only because they would support them and help them to protect their possessions, dignity and status. They would hate having daughters because they feared their shame and humiliation, until the Prophet (S.A.W), was sent with the religion of Islam that is the final religion and the one that Allah The Almighty approves for His slaves. Allah The Almighty Says (what means):

It was narrated on the authority of Anas ibn Maalik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (S.A.W), said: “The one who supports two girls until they grow up, he and I will be on the Day of Judgment like this [and he put two of his fingers together].” In this Hadeeth, the Prophet (S.A.W), put his fingers together in order to express his closeness in Paradise to the person who brings up two girls. ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated,

A woman along with her two daughters once came to me asking [for some alms], but she found nothing with me except a date which I gave to her. She [took it and] divided it between her two daughters and did not eat anything herself. Then, she got up and went away. The Prophet (S.A.W) then came in and I told him about this story. He said:“Whoever is put to trial by having daughters and treats them kindly [with benevolence], then these daughters will be a shield for him from the Hellfire.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

No bounty or reward is greater than this.
In spite of the great reward that is promised to those who support their daughters and treat them well, some people feel no joy when a daughter is born to them and instead display their distress and sadness! This kind of reaction is an ignorant one and shows dissatisfaction with the decree of Allah The Almighty. Some parents are negligent regarding educating and advising their daughters and they do not care for them properly. If man comprehended the religion of Allah The Almighty, knew his duties, knew what is lawful, and what is unlawful, and followed the example of the Prophet(S.A.W), in every aspect of his life, he would live in comfort and happiness. He would also know how to worship Allah The Almighty, how to deal with his fellow Muslims, family, and wife, and how to bring up his children. This is because Islam guides us to all that is good and warns us against all that is evil.

The Prophet (S.A.W), was delighted when his daughters were born. He felt joy when his daughter Faatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, was born and thought of her as being tremendous good fortune. He named her Faatimah and nicknamed her Az-Zahraa’. She was given the epithet of “Umm Abeeha” (the mother of her own father).

Here, the Prophet (S.A.W), taught us a great lesson. He taught us that the one who is granted daughters should be happy and praise Allah The Almighty for the offspring that He has granted him. The parent has to intend to raise them well and to marry them off to pious, competent husbands so that he would thereby receive a great reward. During early childhood, parents have to look after their young children and provide them with their physiological and psychological needs. At the early stages of the child’s life, the mother shoulders the greater part of the responsibility of caring for her children. At this age, children are usually closer to their mothers. Khadeejah, may Allah be pleased with her, was keen on looking after her children. After delivering, she would give them to someone to foster them in the open air of the desert so that the child would grow up to be eloquent and courageous, as the inhabitants thereof were known for these two qualities. This was the custom of the people of Quraysh, unlike what some mothers do, nowadays, when they give their children to servants and nannies to bring them up, who are known for their tampered creed and evil behavior, and thus affect the children of today in this manner.

During this stage of childhood, parents should introduce their daughters to the teachings of Islam, the rules of sound ‘Aqeedah (creed), recitation of the Quran, Salaah (prayer), and wearing Hijaab so that they would be used to this from their very early days

I'm not here to post which gender kills more often, but since you brought in the topic, i had to post something that counters it.

Makes sense, for people who have to read research papers and indulge in scientific research its more or less a rule of thumb, that a sample from another geographical location will behave differently .. With that said let me make a couple observations regarding the link you posted..

The sample size of this study you posted was around 340 cases breaking them in to filicides and filicide-suicides. While the sample size of the study which I presented to you studied 2,373,900 cases out which 3205 ended in child fatalities. So the sample size of the study I presented is literally in exponentials compared to the study you have quoted my friend.

Secondly an institutional research like that of DHHS is usually considered more reliable because the institution is literally made to look at those subjects, research them out and give solutions. Comparatively a research paper by a scholar isn't as reliable, however this is not to discount scholarly work as it is to be respected as well ...

Thirdly if you read the article you've quoted, its more about the correlation of mental illness and filicide etc.

So while this study (the one you quoted) may say one thing, it doesn't discount the figure provided straight by the DHHS either as I said different geographical locations have different sets of settings (culture/other factors) that impacts the results directly. Just to give you another example ..

But my point remains the same that humans have the capacity to be evil irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity etc. Hence, the opinion of mine to focus on the PROBLEM instead of being the whole "what if it was a man who did something dishonorable etc." because there are a whole heck of a lot of issues which overwhelmingly effect men and we don't think of them twice in the same way "female problems" are approached ...

Lets not forget the DHHS statistics which show that women are alot more likley to commit child murder ... So the idea that one gender cant be evil is frankly laughable....

Not sure what exactly you mean. For one thing, QB did not work as a stripper, as far as I know. Her "acts"? By which you mean provocative pictures on social media? Yea, none of that deserves murder. If you don't like her posts or photos or videos, don't watch. It's that simple. (BTW millions of people did watch her, which is why she was famous in the first place.)

Moral policing should stop. If you think something is a sin, let Allah judge and punish it. If somebody commits crimes against people, punish him or her.

I'm sure there are plenty of things you do that certain other people would consider sinful. Amjad Sabri was shot dead recently because the TTP fellows thought what he does for a living is unislamic. I'm sure you would disagree. (Or am I wrong?) How about you leave these things for God to judge? And punish only people who commit crimes against fellow human beings? That will give you a more peaceful society.
