That's because the Bavar-373 is a very newly developed system was only publicly unveiled in August and its prior tests were not publicised. "Any other" anti air system in the world - like the Patriot, S-300, S-400 etc. are older systems than the Bavar-373.

The president has ordered it to be tested against a ballistic missile and this test is thought to be the one which will be publicised.

Oh, and by the way, its radars have been shown working.

Even if it's new you can show it, TUrkish Hisar O did and it's more recent than the iranians.
As for the radar working or not, we don't know, you need to see it in action, bc a radar who is turning doesn't mean it's doing it's job...

.
That is not a mock up bro
I didn't say it was ;) but trolls said it was and they got their asses handed to them.

AFAIK mockup or not Iran did acquire S-300P batteries from Belarus at some point.

Complete the paradox :woot: :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

.
TUrkish Hisar

Hisar O is a lower tier missile system and takes much less time to develop Hisar O range = 40km Bavar-373 range = 300 km. By the way I believe the Hisar is of similar age to the Bavar. And Iran and Turkey's policies wrt military secrecy are different so you cannot expect us to unveil a strategic system like this so easily.

As for the radar working or not, we don't know, you need to see it in action

What more do you want... shall we show you the radar screens? Do you want to monitor the electricity going to each radar? If we showed missile launch you would say its just unguided as we don't know if it is guided by a radar...

Fact is no-one in the Iranian defence industry is out to please you, they develop the system and show it as they please.

I'll remember your name and @ you when we see the launch and see what excuses you come up with.

at least a live fire of a target... and bavar 300km... let's not be to optimistic... by the size of those missiles maybe, if it's working , around 100-150max... go see a 300km missile range and compare it with yours... and do not be in choc... or maybe Iran invented a new way of propulsion... who knows
Even S-300 never proved it's 200+km range...

Do not forget that Bavar's detection range is 450 km.
Iran has plenty of home made radars for example ::

Iran is introducing its most long-range Sepehr (Sky) phased array radar system, capable of controlling airspaces of all of its neighbor countries in the Middle East and Central Asia, as well as vast parts of Northern Africa, Eastern Europe and Russia.

With a range of up to 3,000 kilometers in distance and up to 300 kilometers into space, Sepehr radar system will protect the country's airspace completely.

“The radar will be included in the integrated air defense network in future after it is fully deployed, and then we will be able to even feel the enemies' breathing in their bases,” Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmayeeli told the national Fars news agency (FNA) on Sunday.

"We don’t have any bottleneck left with regard to the Sepehr radar system and over 40 percent of its deployment plan has ended and we don't have any problem” with its development and deployment, he added.

“We hope that we can launch a major part of the Sepehr space radar system by the end of the next (Iranian) year (March 21, 2014-March 20, 2015),” Commander Esmayeeli told FNA.

Brigadier General Shahrokh Shahram, the lieutenant commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base, told FNA that the Sepehr radar has successfully passed all the tests.

“The Sepehr radar system… can detect stealth targets and micro UAVs at low, medium and high altitudes while it can also very easily identify and detect ballistic, semi-ballistic and cruise missiles,”Shahram said, FNA reported.

The first phase of Iran’s early warning radar system was tested in November 2014.

In September, Iran unveiled two domestically manufactured state-of-the-art radar systems capable of detecting stealth aircraft and long-distance targets, Arash-2 and Kayhan.

Iran unveiled new indigenized radar systems named Keyhan & Arash 2.http://bit.ly/1w2gDd3

2:44 PM - 2 Sep 2014

The Arash-2 radar system specializes in tracking targets at low segment altitudes of less than 33 kilometers.

The two-dimensional Kayhan radar system is capable of detecting and tracking high altitude aerial targets, stealth aircraft included.

Iran's domestically produced "Kayhan radar system." Supposedly can detect & track conventional & stealth aircraft.

Iran’s first long-range (1,100 kilometer) radar Ghadir was introduced in 2012 and according to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, it has been mass-produced ever since.

Ghadir radar can detect all aerial targets, including cruise and ballistic missiles, stealth drones, as well as low-altitude satellites.

The Iranian leadership has always insisted that the country's military and arms programs serve solely defensive purposes.

Where are speaking about the anti air bavar.... not the radar...

Its a long range AD system, 100-150 km ain't going to cut it.

The IHS Janes article is talking about Sayyad-3 (the red missile quoted at 150 km range) and saying it's canisters are 6.5 metres long whereas Russian 48N6 is 200 km range... Now where does 6.5 m length = 150 km and 7.5 metre length = 200 km sound unrealistic?

And this is Sayyad-4. Bigger, no? Look at its size compared to Sayyad-3. Even though it is close to the camera, it is visibly larger and wider.

This is the one with 300 km range.

This is easily achieved with good propellant, materials, aerodynamics and guidance tech. And Iran has decades of experience in solid fuel tech.

Sayyad-4 is brilliant.
That is why Iran refused Russia's offer on purchasing of S-400 batteries. S-500 is the only one that can challenge Iran's air defense systems. Probably the best in the world.

I'm not sure about that, but for certain the Bavar-373 is a highly capable system.

At least saudi arabia don't lie on her people
We only have
F-5
F-15c
F-15d
F15-s
F-15sa
Eurofighter typhoon
Tornado
And some of the popular awacks
More the 250 transport and more then 12 refueling tankers nearly a 50 k guided bombs and missiles

And yet you are doing so poorly in Yemen!

.
That is not a mock up bro. Iran purchased those old versions of S-300 from Belarus. Belarussian government denied it but youe already know that money could change everything.
Iran reassembled them and started producing similar missiles and radars of course with a hot-launch system.
Exactly,if that was supposed to be a "mock up" of bavar then bavar was originally going to be a near perfect copy of the s300.So either iran has completely redesigned every component of bavar since then or the systems that were originally paraded were in fact actual s300s acquired from an as yet officially unacknowledged supplier.

Look boy, we don't need Qaher or some junk F-series fighters to smash aggressive guys marching against us. Although we are developing some home made flying junks. And believe me without balls, you cannot defeat even Houthis with those junks while you had Israeli and American air support during striking Yemeni people.
This is what happens to hostiles :
View attachment 371595
They will fly high over the battlefield and we will watch them laughing and saying cheers.
No need for further flying junks

guess what

we also have
dongfeng -21
A/C/D

AND DF-3

AND DF-11

GHAURI MISSILE

SHAHHEN BALLISTIC MISSILE

And yet you are doing so poorly in Yemen!
no my freind
we are fighting more then 600 thousend militia perssonal
they are the strongest militia even strogest then isis
why ?
becuse they stole a hole army eq
including ballistic missile tanks at missiles ......
and we are fighting two army at the same time ali abdullah saleh national guard and houthi militia and don't forget alqaeda in yemen and also isis
