Thunder is a license assembly agreement

Much in the same way SU30MKI was assembled from kits in india.

The THUNDER kits and parts are imported into PAC and assembled.

Currently PAKISTAN is paying china over $15 million per Thunder

YES...…… the design and configuration was made by PAF and its individual needs.

THATS why after a decade in production not one Thunder serves in PLAAF and will never do so.

IT WAS DESIGNED FOR and PARTLY by PAF...…….. exclusively.

Engine is Russian
radar Electronics Avionics & wea[pons are chinease

The tears of the indians

I remember when you clowns used to predict 200 tejas by 2015

maybe one day india could join the jet fighter exporters club like Pakistan:pakistan:

Unlikely considering the junk india produces

Some of you have too much spare time to argue ;) move on and update ur ignore list

;)

. BLK 2 JFT avionics are produced upto 80% in Pakistan.

80% of the avionics? That's news to me.
Is there a legitimate link to verify that claim?

indian Teja is all but 30% indian today.

That's not true.
And keep in mind this was only in 2014, we have steadily increased the indigenous content since then.

BTW, there are more Indian subsystems in the Su-30MKI a non joint venture fighter aircraft than there are pakistani subsystems in the joint venture product JF-17.

thanks from the west, west help you in every sector in LCA/Tejas project development, you copy/paste those tech and name it @CyclopS :p:;):enjoy:

PAC produces 58% of air frame til 150th example of JFT after that it can move to full air frame production per contract. BLK 2 JFT avionics are produced upto 80% in Pakistan. some of them are western origin others are design jointly by China. where some are purely Chinese made in Pakistan. weapon systems varies. some are build in china others are of Pakistani origin.

by and large JFT is fully Pakistani fighter build in collaboration with China. Prior to JFT, PAC did not have an expertise in designing and developing fighter of the class of JFT. Japan produced its first major fighter F-1 not logn ago but had to collaborate with US for F2 that is based on F-16. T-50 is south Korean with major subsystems from US including designing. EF-2000 is build by 4 countries. indian Teja is all but 30% indian today.

Very true, the west did help us intially.

However after our Nuclear tests they withdrew all support and withheld all tests and R&D done on the Tejas in the West and sent our scientists and engineers packing with all progress achieved up until that point completely lost.

And hence we had to start all over again.
Pissed off and eager to prove haters wrong, we made research facilities of our own and the Tejas you see today is borne out of absolute Indian labour.

I still don't see an 80%.

what lame logic you have @CyclopS they sent you lots of data so your job will be easier to do again and after sanctions lifted they were begin to help you again on LCA/Tejas project @CyclopS

And as for 80% its fanboy assumptions, we manufacturing 60% fuselage and some of its avionics including radar under license @CyclopS
