Not by either side. A sniper from Lemberg did that as provocation. The sniper has been caught and is locked up for life.

No one denied Russian regular forces took over Crimea without a shot. Ukrainian soldiers do not even dare shoot at Russian regular soldiers.

Ukrainian soldiers were taken all of a sudden by the hybird war which has worked for the Russian regular soldiers.

70 vessels of the Ukrainian Navy were stationed in Crimea prior to the annexation and Ukrainian naval forces were able to take out 28 vessels from Crimea by May 20 2014 as Russian black sea fleet put the blockade from all the sides.

Ukrainian forces were taken out by hybird tactics but i hope that Ukraine and its allied nations will recover soon.

That's right. Russia is 30 times the size of Ukraine. No way Ukraine can survive Russian invasion. Look at Crimea. Taken over without firing a shot. Russian army stronk! :D The rest of Ukraine will not survive Russian invasion either.

So stronk, it spends its time bullying smaller neighbors instead of helping its allies and strategic partners who are being taken down by NATO and the US.

The US can't take down anyone. :usflag: Lame.

The US has reached such a point of power, that they don't even need to take down regimes like they did with Saddam. Instead, they can snap their fingers and have some lackey do their dirty work for them. Meanwhile, Russia is desperately battling with minnows.

Saddam Hussain invested heavily in SCUD missiles and the main target was to taken out the Baath Party because of which Russian Federation was able to put its influence in Indian Ocean.

Russian officials continue to deny their regular troops' presence in east Ukraine

In October, the Russian military delivered a headless corpse to relatives of Pavel Zhilin. Officials said Zhilin, a paratrooper from the 331st airborne regiment of the 98th division, had been killed during a training exercise in Russia.

The family was sceptical about the military's account. They first became suspicious last summer, when they saw on television paratroopers from Zhilin's company who had been captured by Ukrainians. Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested the soldiers lost their way and entered Ukraine by accident.

But when the family opened the coffin and saw burned and mutilated remains, they were incredulous, said the soldier's godmother. Zhilin's unit was based in Kostroma 300 km (190 miles) north-east of Moscow. She said the family didn't believe either the military's story, or that the corpse was the body of Zhilin.
