Punjab bans dancing at school events

That's like asking what do they gain from playing cricketb or paintingb or literally any extra curricular activity

Look at my DP ........ (its an old one the new size is even more healthy) ....... this is what I gain from my extra curricular activity ........... now tell me is dance not mainly an art of seduction and attracting the opposite gender?

What do we or school going children learn from dancing? Or what do they / we gain from or by dancing? Serious ...... anything that is unique to dancing only and cannot be gained from another form of activity ........?

You are talking as if there's a daily dancing class in every school. As if girls and boys are being trained to become stage dancers or something. It's an activity limited to annual or maybe bi-annual functions only. What's the "uniqueness" and what do we gain from eating pizza over naan chholay ? Nothing, it's all becomes shit in the end anyway. The concept is to show festivity and joy and dance and other arts are used as a means of expression but it's being shut down because some maulvi sahab feels funny down there when he sees little boys and girls.

If you think 6 and 7 year old boys and girls dance with the intent of seducing each other I don't even know anymore.

since when dancing is not part of our culture or doing it in public an immoral and haram act :o:

Dancing on Bollywood item numbers by young girls never accepted as our culture.

At that stage they are going to puberty and they have very much feelings of such type.

Jis ko b is decision se zyada msla ha wo apni begum or bachon k saath Heera mandi ja k perform kr liya kre
No problem with the decision - but rather with priorities. This is nothing but a farce, a move to satisfy the disgruntled masses after the khatm-e-nabuwat debacle and to appease the conservative voters, who have supported the PMLN and who they themselves distanced.

How convenient that this ban would come days after PMLN leadership have had shoes and inc thrown at them. If they care so much about immorality and vulgarity in the name of dancing, then why not ban Bollywood outright? Why not encourage traditional dance, hold events to promote such content and educate the masses? What we need is education reforms and thru education teach the masses right vs wrong, instill knowledge, promote our traditions and values. This is treating the symptom rather than the disease.

Sir, you are right, even Arabs do it with swords in gathering. It seems to be natural human feeling when he is happy. In nature, we could encounter that even birds/animals do it when they are courting/happy.
IMO, here the issue seems related to genders, as in boys schools it was never part of any training/class (may be I am wrong). Usually it is part of girl schools activity.

Examples of two type of Dances...

A natural happy moment dance

A Bollywood inspired crap.

We band 2nd type of dance now libtards cry me a river and support second type of dance which you probably practice at home.

The Punjab government said that public dancing was an immoral act which strays away from religious norms. Hence, schools forcing students to participate in dances or any other ‘immoral activities’ that are deemed irreligious would have their licenses revoked.

So 'Public dancing is an immoral act'

I wonder, who else believes the same.

You're partially right. It has mainly been used as such and related to pre-mating rituals in humans and animal kingdoms but that's not the whole picture...dance is also used as an expression of happiness, devotion, culture.
But the ban is basically intended to discourage the degrading and seductive types being performed in certain schools. However, I see that this move lacks the sincerity and the vision as the main sources of vulgarity have not been closed. i.e. Indian media and Punjabi Mujras and stage shows...A more comprehensive approach is needed.

What kind of a 6 or 7 year old goes through puberty ? Did you import some super strong Arab air over here that children have started maturing at this age ? So the implication you're making is that 7 year olds dance and seduce each other and what's next ? They have intercourse too ? People like you are the reason I see 4 year olds running around in burqas these days.
