No, Pakistan cannot hold by-elections on 34 seats that will be vacated by PTI MNAs. This is simply not possible under current circumstances. This void is too much to desolve assembly itself. So we are most likely looking at new elections and interim setup. There is a reason why Speaker NA didn't accept those resignations. Do you think he or NS are fools to delay the acceptance of resignations?

On the other hand, most of PTIs 34 seats are from KPK, around 90% of those. And on top of that, most of KP seats are from far fetched areas of KPK. Good luck doing a massive by-poll in those war hit areas..
