What's new

PTI's Azadi March 14th August 2014 l Updates and debate.

Brother,

as a indian you have greater educational level , but brother what is the benefit of that education, that more than 450 millions Indian still not have proper food to eat!

so brother, if you think, that by educating people is the only way of progress! but i differ because education is important aspect, but their are also aspects of life too, which need to be improved, like sanitation conditions, living environment, justice.

Brother yes Indian elite is getting progress, what about the ordinary indian! still suffering.

Exactly. Thats why we need Modis economic model. Its tried and tested and have reduced poverty a lot in Gujarat. U can check the poverty ratio, Muslim population development, lower caste development, etc etc. Congress has purposely kept poor as they were and Muslims poorer for their vote bank politics and still Pakistanis feel that Congress is the better option coz they talk very appeasing words.

Are u guyz fools to not understand who is serious bout development and who is an opportunist?

I just had my say at the OP's post. Afterall, Indians shud be more interested in current Pakistani political scenario, especially this topic. Jinnah's Pakistan is the real reason for partition and hence it shud be brought back. Its even in Indian interest. we dont want ISIS type people grown within, moving thruout Pakistan. Having danger around ur home is not a good thing.

I wish Pakistan becomes a Secular state for Muslims as per Jinnah's vision rather than a Muslim sharia state.

.
Brother dont lie. He said if either me or Imran is gone(Back away or killed) the workers should join the one who remains(steadfast or alive). Means if Imran is out PTI workers should join PTI and if I am gone then my workers should join PTI.
Go listen to the urdu statement, that's the best I can translate.
Apko jhuut bol kar kya milta hai akhir?
its in thier blood i guess

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has presented six demands to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif through Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq, the intermediary, to review his plan of the tsunami march on August 14, the Independence Day.

Meanwhile, the federal law ministry has not so far received any instructions from the prime minister to draft amendments to the existing statutes or a new law to be promulgated through a presidential ordinance.

This clearly indicates that some sticking points remain to finally break the political logjam.“I can confirm that we have not yet got any direction from the highest quarters to prepare any draft law,” a senior law ministry official said on condition of anonymity.

When contacted, Federal Law Secretary Barrister Zafarullah told The News that he was not aware of what was being discussed or agreed to at the political level. “We will move when we get instructions and will remain within the legal limits.”

A source said that Imran Khan’s six demands included vote recount in four National Assembly constituencies of Lahore, Sialkot and Lodhran; establishment of an independent commission to analyse the entire general elections held in May 2013; initiation of severe action against the returning officers found involved in rigging; fresh parliamentary polls if rigging was proved in the elections; reconstitution of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and massive electoral reforms.

“Some of these demands can be accepted while others can’t be,” a senior cabinet member said. “We can’t consent to any demand that creates doubts about the whole electoral process, which was rated as much better when compared to previous polls by local and international organisations.”

He said that the government was willing to promulgate a presidential ordinance to amend the relevant laws to order a fresh vote count in certain constituencies under special circumstances.“But it is impossible that recount would be ordered only in those constituencies where the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) nominees won and the PTI representatives lost. Such constituencies would be taken from both the sides if at all such a process was introduced,” the minister said.

Another source said that Imran Khan would present his demands on Monday, insisting that his march would be held in any case. The PTI chief announced on Saturday that he would unfold his demands on Monday. The source said that Imran Khan wanted total examination and analysis of the last polls on the pattern of the Afghan presidential election.

However, the cabinet member said that there were clear differences between the two elections. One, when the Afghan loser demanded recount, the winner had not taken oath and had not formed the government contrary to Pakistan’s case. Two, in Afghanistan the demand about vote recount was made immediately after the result was announced while in Pakistan it was aired much belatedly, a year later. Three, the scope of presidential election is too small and limited as against Pakistan’s polls.

He said that the government had no authority whatsoever to proceed against any district returning officer (DRO) or ROs because they were senior judicial officials and work under the high courts, which only were legally competent to take action against them.

The minister said that the government fully agreed with the PTI to introduce comprehensive electoral reforms and that was why a 33-member bipartisan committee had been set up under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar.He said the government would instantly implement the reforms recommended by the committee, which was created on the initiative of the prime minister.

Meanwhile, there are reports of wide difference of opinion within the PTI over the long march. A source said that a senior PTI stalwart told a federal minister in private conversation that one of its senior leaders was in fact responsible for pushing Imran Khan to this pass in the hope of becoming the prime minister, bypassing the party chairman. He said that it was common knowledge that this leader joined the PTI and quit the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on the advice of a former chief spymaster.

In the meantime, while concrete efforts are underway to break the deadlock, the government is showing no laxity in making preparations to deal with the long march through elaborate administrative measures. “We are taking no chances and have put in place different measures.”

PTI will never ever accept anything which may expose their reality.
In fact, PML-N should offer to audit the whole system so that everything becomes crystal clear. And to tell you, PTI would turn out to be a bigger rigging party. Why am I saying that? because PTI mostly fielded weaker candidates and for weaker candidates, the incentive to do rigging is more as compared to that for stronger candidate. Secondly the rigging allegations have been placed on winning candidate, it is very possible that a weaker candidate would lose out despite doing rigging.
So an overall audit is perfect to establish who is who and what is what for all political parties.

And one more funny thing, PTI's representative voted in favor of Ishaq Dar's appointment

Guys, imran khan's march situation is very clear. Let me tell you exactly whats going to happen.

The golden rule of negotiation between two parties is this;
Party A gives ridiculous amount of maximal demands. Basically, it goes to an extreme end. (PTI wants re-election and resignation of PM)
Party B agrees for minimal amount of demands. It also goes to an extreme end. (PMLN wants a re-count on 10 seats)

Thats when a mediator comes in and party A and party B agree on a common ground. Basically, in the end, PMLN and PTI will agree on either Mid term election or re-election on couple of seats.

Qadri is an army's man, his job is to pressurize the government and fall for Imran's maximal demands (PM resignation and re-election).

Ab Qadri Army man ban gaya hai?

Yar aik banday par settle ho, Imran Khan ya Qadri. Donon sahi baat nhn hai...you can't have all of the cake.

Or else, hamari fauj phir bauhaut hi weli hai!

Ab kuch bolon ga tu ap mind kar jao gay. But I'd like to remind you of Qadris doing back in 1999 when the PMLN govt was toppled. Qadri isnt someone who popped out of no where. He had strong ties back in the 90s. He had many mureeds including many high profile military generals. Nawaz Sharif's father was also his mureed and close friend.

What happened in nineties is irrelevant. Puranay General mureed thay, not the current lot. The army has drastically changed now.

So who do you think is behind Qadri? Lets be honest, even the most elite and cash loaded political parties in Pakistan often need a nod of approval from establishment/military. If Qadri is to contest elections, he will not win a single seat. So in your opinion, who is funding his gatherings/sit ins etc?

Some options for dealing with the containers:

w7j7s1.jpg

Option 1: Put multiple wooden platforms, climb on top in huge numbers, then jump down together and overwhelm the charging police on the other side. Keep pushing wave after wave of people on the platforms. Once the area on the other side is under PTI control, start the effort on pushing the container away.

Option 2: Put a strong rope through the area marked in red circle, tie the other end to a truck axle and pull the container away.

Option 3: Ask people to pull on left side and push on the right side of the container. The law of physics (Principle of Leverage) will turn the container aside for people to go through.

Option 4: Try to topple the container forward. It is less tall and easier to climb when it is lying on it's side.

Pass the knowledge on. :pakistan:

Note: Report all containers and blockage now on Submit a New Activity | Azadi March to add to the tactical intelligence picture for PTI.

Does all the above sound a game to you guys and is it worth 50 or 100 human lives so others can further threaten the gov't for no good reason and for individual greed for power?
The mullah needs to sent to prison for life, or the Canadians need to get him under Terrorism and Murder charges, ship him to Gitmo. He can probably preach hate to other terrorists we've captured. Would be good for him to meet "like minded" people. This is unbelievable. People are supporting open terrorism and violence where innocent poor people are getting killed!
