As much as am against these protests I want to point out that perhaps the first time in decades PPP stands to gain in political mileage in Punjab on long term basis should the PMLN govt is toppled. Punjab has been systematically lost to PPP since the 1979 local bodies elections (where PPP won by a land-slide across Pakistan). And that's why the PPP members like this Abidi and others are kind of ambivalent about the march: Opposing the march while also salivating at the prospect of a come back...

When he did refer to females and cooking I told him I only started in my Masters he took it a step further claiming my masters was in cooking as an insult not really as a tareef...I have nothing against him in fact many a times I ask people to get off his tail and I used to really adore him when I found out he is a kid with heightened passion of something he believes in but mayri parhai ka koi mazaq nai! esp not a degraded mazaq!
