Depends. One is political gimmickry- one could say it is cheap. But it’s basically point scoring for their own audience. So is, btw, filibustering, doing naras, using harsh language in speeches, interrupting others from speaking. This happens in parliaments around the world. It is cheap sure and PTI is guilty of it.I don't know how severe the police action was but I saw what PTI did to the DS simply because their candidate did not have enough votes, is that the way of the parliament? And as long as people vote for PTI they are saints but as soon as they vote for someone else they are the spawns of satan....what logic is that? When Senate elections were stolen from PPP's candidate by PTI, where was this logic then?
But to break bones and put a female MPA in the hospital is another thing entirely. This would be a criminal case in most democratic countries.
Everyone is corrupt. Purana types are more so than naya types. The false dichotomy is to pose it as mafia vs cult. Except cults aren’t able to pull the amount of middle class educated people to the streets as PTI has. So no it’s just mafia vs imperfect movement. And don't we all know that only the most corrupt reach the parliament, senate, assemblies etc.? What is so surprising about these people selling their conscience again and again? Just look at the MQM ******** how they sold for 2 ministries!!! How can anyone expect any better from them?
