well, at minimum, elementary education is the key and farz for every muslims. if you can't even read then every molvi, qari and mufti will twist and turn you in whatever direction they wish.

I agree with Gumnaam - there is some very basic stuff (don't kill, steal, enslave, discriminate etc) that is common sense.

Yet this very basic stuff is not available in Pakistan. You need basic education system till 10 class in Pakistan to understand the basic of Islam. If you been taught in Pakistan education system then you will understand what I meant.

People you are referring is exactly are those who just open the Quran read the lines and make their own mind without checking the history at which point ayat came and under what circumstances.

No it's not. We are full of sins we do mistake every day may be that mullah do more sins than you or you do more than him but at the end ppl will blame him because he is having beard.

No Educated Islamic Scholar is against science infact the very current system through which moon is sighted in Pakistan is after taking account of weather situation and other means like at what angle and altitude will be moon appear if moon will be shown or not or what are the changes for moon to be seen etc.

Don't know who spread this that Moon is sighted without taking science into account in Pakistan.

Bhai jee you are saying because you live in US or having luxury life when you opened your eyes. In Pakistan people doesn't even know how to do ghusal even even person is educated they don't know how to do ghusal which is must.

Please also share the how to Perform UMRAH/Haj by Quran or Hadees sharef if you can.

there is a whole chapter called Hajj in the Quran and also chapters in sahih bukhari and muslim. Feel free to read 'em. How's that for starters.

Niyat is what really counts, Umrah doesn't start without Niyat as an example.

We are on the internet and search on how to do ghusal (by the different schools) is at our fingertips tips. No mullah required for that knowledge.

I find it shocking mullahs saying that one little mistake during Salah makes it incomplete. Wah ji wah.

In this age of information, no mullah required. Allah knows what's in our hearts and again an honest Niyat and an honest attempt are all one can do.

I refuse to listen to any mullah if there is even a hint of demand of money or favours.

Used to listen to Shaikh Hamza Yusuf but during one lecture he said to buy his CD instead of taking copies from each other. That was the last lecture I heard.

Any celebrity mullah who can't be approached by a minion for advice is not worth paying attention to. Our beloved Prophet PBUH met everyone who wanted to meet him so any mullah who doesn't speak with people who want to meet him should be avoided. These people give lectures on Seerah yet do the opposite on many things.

I can not say about that because my knowledge is limited and not like you. But my basic education is telling me if ghusal is not that important why ALLAH introduce to to muslim and why would Hazrat Muhammad P.B.U.H taught us how to perform Ghussal?
