I'm not going to argue with you guys over rigging, just tune any TV channel and see yourself. Only a fool will claim that these elections were fair.

no one can win against these goon leagues in sindh and punjab unless ECP,police and bureaucracy works for them .no matter who the party is and how strong its organization is .10 PTI workers killed in punjab and 11 pmlf workers killed in sindh AS USUAL Police Khamoosh and Adliya Azad.

and 2/3 LB areas remains including Karachi .

I understand all these things, but you also got to understand that there are serious flaws in PTI's ranks as well as the strategy & planning. We need to focus more on election reform instead of crying about election rigging everytime. 2.5 years are gone, and still zero reforms. We have 2.5 more years to think wisely and act right. Otherwise I am seeing PTI crying for election rigging after 2018 elections.

Local Body Elections a repeat of Election 2013 with same mismanagement and irregularities FAFIN

Reports came from 71% of the polling stations

The nation is tired of the same old same old excuses.

Just excuses.

TV guys do point to fist fights, fiing, killing, yeah. That's really sad to see.

But
you want to use it to cover PTI failures. Immi Khan has turned PTI into another group of drama queens, constantly bitching about one thing or the other.

Marriages, divorces, kids thrown about, tears, curse words.

That's what PTI has been reduced to.

Oh there was so much promise in 2013.

Now it is just a heap of dung.

Sadly.

Another proof that Democrazy does not works in Pakistan

Yes call in the NATO troops. Say the anarchists and PTIens.

OK. This one is very sane analysis. Why not just talk about this positive set of points.

No more discussion on "dhandli aa ga-ee hai" slogan. We are all tired of it. Please continue to focus on positive approach.

Thank you

Yes, the nation is tired of same old excuses rather allegations of rigging, but the nation is NOT tired of rigged elections that are ruining this nation since 1970s. So much for this nation.

If you want people to stop complaining about rigging, better start reforming the electoral process and bring in electronic voting. Asking people to shut their mouth is not a solution. People will keep crying as long as the rigging is happening.

I partially agree with this. Yes PTI has been trying to use it as a cover of their own failures. But still RIGGING is a known reality, the sooner we as a nation will realize this, the sooner we'll take a stance against this menace as a unit.

Having said that, there is no denying that PTI has flaws in its ranks and in its policies. I've already said that in my previous post and many times before that. I've no shame in accepting what is wrong with PTI.

but the nation is NOT tired of rigged elections that are ruining this nation since 1970s. So much for this nation.

This is really a self-righteous elitist comment obviously coming from and "elite" member of Urban minority.

Just because rural folks reject this elitist mentality, doesn't mean the whole election and the whole nation can be rubbished.

Sorry to see this. But sadly it is pretty common among urban elitists.

PMLN candidate could Not accept his Defeat and killed a PTI worker

Regardless of the outcome in these elections (even if PTI/PPP would have won), I genuinely believe that Pervez Musharraf was absolutely right in saying that Pakistan needs a democracy which is tailored according to the dynamics of the country.

This western democracy will just not work in Pakistan if we take into account the socio-cultural variables of this 200 million "hujoom".

PTI claims widespread rigging in Punjab LG polls
November 2, 2015

By: Samaa Web Desk

LAHORE: Local government election in Punjab were nothing more than a Tamasha (spectacle) in which the ruling party carried out large scale rigging like it did in the by-election of NA-122, said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab President Ejaz Chauhdry on Monday.

Speaking to media, he went on to claim that voter lists of 19 unions councils were tempered with police acting against the PTI during the whole exercise.

He also ruled out reports circulating on media regarding organizational change in the PTI following party’s dismal performance. He said party leadership stands united under Imran Khan.

The PML-N secured 220 seats out of 274 offices of union councils in Lahore, independent 31 while PTI could only manage to win 13 seats.

The ruling party grabbed 1192 seats while independent who are most likely to join the PML-N won 1065 in Punjab. The PTI secured only 285 seats in the local government election.-Samaa

WTF.It makes me really sad to see a potentially brilliant political party going nuts all the time and loosing a lot of popularity just cuz of a stupid mindset of some people in PTI.I hope(and pray) IK will reconsider his approach and do more in KPK to bring change.....Please for Gods sake do something good to make people vote you
P.S.there is no denying that this election was`nt totally fair as it happens all the time but still IK has to do some thing more than ``police reforms`` in KPK to gain massive public support.

Noon league consists of thoroughly corrupted people in all interpretations of the word (i.e. moral, physical, mental and spiritual). That is why corruption is not a sin in their belief system rather a birth right, hooliganism is their entertainment and rigging is what they think the fair part of election (but only if they do it).

No elections are fair!! Not even in the developed countries. But, 10, 20% anomalies or even contested seats don't mean the entire system, everyone in power, the judiciary, the election commission, the police and the military, everyone is corrupt and paid!!!!

Democracy means, that if you know that the other party will take one seat over you, you shouldn't throw "rigging" tantrums like a 2 year old child (which in PMLN vs. PTI's case is well known that PMLN will always get extra seats, if you think with reality in mind). So there is no need to upset the entire country and the system.

You should accept the facts and focus on the next elections, present a legal case where you can, and start to PEACEFULLY educate people, with respect for the country, its elected leaders and institutions. THAT is how you bring about a change. If the violence, the verbal assault, the threats could help, IK would already be a PM today from every place. But the reality is that people have woken up and are rejecting the negative and violent nature of IK's campaign.

He needs to start showing work and progress, the time to make crazy speeches, threats and all is over. If he doesn't act smart, he may get less than 5% votes from Punjab and Sindh the next time. His claims and dreams have hit the solid rock bottom a couple of days ago.

See the advise above for IK. You all think I am a big NS fan. That's not true, I am a Pakistan's fan and a system's fan. I want Pakistan to grow and become stronger economically, tolerance wise and in all other aspects.

I support the system as it is making head-ways for the growth of Pakistan. Today NS is running it, but I'd be saying the SAME stuff if IK or someone else was running it, and undertaking the same amount of work that NS's team has, and they are making progress!!

Looks like Imran has lost grip on reality and as a result on PTI.

Sadly.
