PTI tsunami appears to be bust. They have opted out of bye elections even on the seats vacated by some of their new recent arrivals. I think they had sent Hashmi in the field to do some jalsas to get a feel of the public mood. It must be disappointing.

I am not sure I understand, why would the PTI participate in by-elections when many of the politicians joining it are resigning their seats from the NA and PA's?

Isn't one of the major PTI demands currently that fresh elections be held across the board?

Why should he show his hand for small stake ?

Article says PTI not to contest "By Elections", whats wrong with it? PTI did not participate in any of by elections held during this tenure, whats new in it?

only if you can get this through the thick heads of N leaguers, who seemed quite panic and cannot do much about PTI tactful playing with their Tin Man Nawaz !!

Let’s take some PTI’s supporter arguments in this regards one by one.

When Only six months left why should we go for elections?
Wrong!!
After boycotting 2008 GE, PTI contest many by-elections afterwards; defeats in those elections by healthy margins disheartened it and from end of 2010 it runs from contesting any further on the pretext of rigging by opponents. So this again a lame excuse at current point in time.

When there is bogus list of voters election could not be feared?
Wrong!!
Imran in 2002 wins as per the same voter lists???? If its feared than, why its not now???
The fact of the matter is in every By-Elections PTI looses by very high margins, in fact the famous “Jazi Khan” in NA-55 make his “honor confiscated; Zamant Zabt”, so bogus list is just another lame excuse to run from heavy defeats.

Why PTI participate in By-Elections when politician joining it resigining from NA/PA’s?
That’s the bottom line, I need to emphasize here to all PTI supporters.

After the passing of Kerry-Lugar bill, our establishment’s attitude towards USA and GOP changes 180 degrees and since Raymond david’s episode, they wants removal of this government ASAP for one way or other.

NS is not forthcoming to picks up the exact lines, they are communicating him very hard and above it to go for trump card of resigning from assemblies, even SMQ when met him on 22nd Dec, 2011 he place “resignations” as a pre conditions for joining. So all those people who are sended by establishment towards PTI needs to first resign in order to make pressure not solely on govt but more so on opposition to resign ASAP as well.

So Why Oppositions/ PMLN’s resignation from assemblies so Important to establishment
Simple…!!
It gives military establishment the legitimacy to intervene in an “anarchy” created by this move as per the plan afterwards which is beyond constitution allowed, judiciary too understands “that” situations on the streets and allow this take over in due course.
In worst case scenario, military establishment still in better positions to exert more pressure on PPP govt to go for early elections just like it make it them towards restoration of judges.

So, basically all politics of our great Imran Khan is surrounding by the advices of our establishment nothing concrete and genuine form him except bliss and blustering here and there occasionally.

I know many “Bachcha Log’s” see no harms in following establishment’s lines here and they see it a strong point of IK for vote, but then that’s not the point I’m making here for them, its just beyond their limits to understands.

Imran Khan has been calling on the people to become stakeholders to a better and prosperous Pakistan, one based on; compassion, humanity, good governance, transparency, justice, hard work, motivation, hope, fearlessness, education, respect for minority rights, etc etc. Now what makes him different from the rest is because of these broad policy statements, that his opposition either doesn't have the credibility to make or their previous record doesn’t allow them to sync into - that's only possible, when you're clear in your mind and honest with your intentions and Imran Khan has them both - and that's why he wins our support too.

Agar zindagi rahi, shall talk to you in October/November 2012 on the general election day, till then Fee-Amanillah.
