I think Punjab Didnt annouce budget yet.

I have question punjab population is 54% of the whole pakistan than why budget is just around 860Billion while sindh ha 600Billion and KPK very less 300Billion?

Is it not depend on population area?

Tax revenue buddy, is tax collection is low, and only a small percentage of the total population pay taxes, the same proportion of the total tax revenue (budget) they receive.

kpk is a war affected province so imposing of tax in a backward province would be burden for its people its people ,, Kindly tell me where is written in law a mother's property of CM and PM is tax free ?

SINDH BEATS ALL PROVINCES in terms of MONEY "ALLOCATED FOR EDUCATION" 110 BILLION RUPEES!

the question is how much will it actually spend & how much will go to corruption!

Is that total more than other provinces or as a percentage of budget.

you must be talking about rich people of FATA who are involve in smuggling and drugs business like hanif abbasi soory main suppliers of hanif abbasi living in FATA are not under KPK govt so no taxes are imposed over them

Taxing the rich, KPK failed to do this. Punjab is suggesting 5 lakh tax on 2-4 kanal and 10 lakh 4-8 kanal and 15 lakh on above

Kpk government announced to establish Tax reform commission which is for increasing tax net specifically so dont know what u r talking about. On the other hand I have seen in federal budget how much PMLN wants to tax the rich.

The 6.7 Billion qouted for FY12 was the development expenditure. There is a big fudge in budget statistics. Even the percentage increase is calculated in unknown way.

Punjab govt unveils Rs 871 billion budget
LAHORE: Finance Minister of Punjab, Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Monday unveiled Rs871 billion budget for fiscal year 2013-14, which proposes a 10 percent increase in the salaries of government employees and recommends an up to Rs10,000 raise in the minimum wage for laborers.

Delivering the budget speech, the minister said Rs290 billion had been allocated for development and the provincial government was expected to receive Rs702 billion via the NFC award.

"Rs 169 billion will be received from provincial and income taxes. The provincial government has allocated Rs 210 billion for education, Rs82 billion for health and Rs 13 billion for agriculture", said he.

Rehman further added that Rs93 billion had been allocated for law and order and the up-gradation of police, while Rs110 billion would be spent on general administration.

"Social services will receive Rs90.78 billion and Rs20.43 billion for the energy sector", he said.
