I can clarify this absurd name thingy.
It's actually the language difference we read it that way ok so don't drag it in the middle.

Rest what he said about traffic is his own opinion and that would be because of his experience what is so fuss about it ?? But I think it's an irrelevant comment from a Cricket commentator.

About pet name again his opinion nothing felt derogatory but it's not only Bangladeshi have Pet name :-/ but they may sound different to others.

Last thing I must say what I feel from posts in this thread if Tigers were cornered by the Hunters so why should we curse a hunter why not appreciate the hunters skills ??

Well Ramiz Raja is a bad commentator. The only reason he is spewing his bad english everywhere is because others cant speak english or are not as motivated for this job.

I find him okay. He is balanced in his views and does not go over the top. The best Pakistani commentator is undoubtedly Wasim Akram. He was a rare gentleman in a team that had Javed Miandad among others.

There is hardly any difference between spoken Urdu and Hindi. Pakistanis don't have any problem understanding Hindi nor do Indians (who don't know urdu) have any problem understanding it. The script is different but the pronounciation is very same.

not entirely that true, because some are really well know Islam name for example: Shakib AL Hasan, Rahman etc

We in pakistan have a name ``Sakib`` and we to be honest never heard the name ``Shakib`` before.So thats why he could have pronounced it that way.Also what is the difference between ``Rehman`` and ``Rahman``.Both of the pronunciations r correct.

Nope. Urdu and Hindi although have 10% similarities are totaly distinct. For eg Moon in Hindi is called Chand ( Sankrit origin from Chandr) and in Urdu its called Badr ( Arabic origin).

Criticism of Bangladesh cricket quite fair. In 15 years, they have achieved nothing.

Compare that with Sri Lanka. They got Test recognition in 1981 and won the World Cup in 1996. They had civil war going on and still able to manage that feat.

Now look at Bangladesh. Competing at world standard is quite a distant thing. They havent produced a batsman or bowler of any repute.

I think giving Ireland Test recognition would have been a much better option. Bangladesh is a complete disappointment. Where did Bangladesh won the last Test series and against whom?

I dont mind wrong pronunciation of any player. What irks me more is the commentators correct pronunciation of Bangladesh rather Bengladesh.
